Bose Sleepbuds review: Helpful but needs improvement

The Bose noise-masking sleepbuds are certainly expensive for a single-function device at $250, but how much would you pay for a good night's sleep? These are designed well, comfortable to wear for long periods and the white noise truly does mask most...

Comfortable to wear ; Secure fit ; Improves quality of life/sleep

Price ; Unreliable charging ; Finicky connection ; Limited number of white noise options

Bose Sleepbuds

The Bose Sleepbuds earphones block out noise and play sound loops to help you fall asleep, but they have been recalled and are no longer recommended.

Quality sound loops. Programmable sleep timers and alarms. Solid battery life.

Expensive. Earpieces can start to become uncomfortable after several hours. No innovative technology at work here.

I wanted the Sleepbuds to be something that I'm not sure any product can be: The answer to my often sleepless or sleep-light nights. And so my disappointment is partially rooted in somewhat unreasonable expectations. If I could use the Sleepbuds every...

Bose Sleepbuds review: These wireless earbuds are designed carry you to la-la-land

The noted headphone manufacturer applies its noise-handling expertise to help you get a better night's sleep.

Tight-fitting silicone tips block ambient noise while soothing electronic sound effects cancel out what still gets through ; Carrying case recharges the powered earbuds while they’re in storage ; Very comfortable to wear while sleeping

Sleepbuds can’t be used for phone calls or for streaming music ; Even more people would get a better fit if Bose provided the ear tips and wings as separate components ; The price tag could keep you up at night

Review: Bose Sleepbuds | The Earbuds That Put You To Sleep Bose Noise-Masking Sleepbuds

Bose Sleepbuds does not play music. Instead, they provide sleep-inducing sounds that will help with a good night's sleep.

Comfort is paramount and battery life is fabulous. Many features that make sleep easier

The silicone plugs seal the ear canal, so you hear your own breathing and swallowing, as if you are immersed in water. The price also seems a bit stiff.

Bose noise-masking sleepbuds can make it easier to fall asleep. They do not cancel noise, but mask it with sleep-inducing sounds.

Bose Sleepbuds Review: They Ruined My Sleep

Even a $250 pair of earphones isn't comfortable to wear all night.

If you have no issues sleeping with earplugs and if more-conventional approaches to noise masking, such as white-noise machines, just don't work for you, maybe the Sleepbuds will do the trick. But for $249.95/£229.95/AU$379.95, I want a pair of...

Bose turns to crowdfunding for its noise-masking sleepbuds

Crowdfunding campaigns are usually a way for small startups to raise money to take a product from prototype to something that's actually ready to ship. But the campaigns also provide a way to generate buzz and gauge how much interest there actually is...

You can control volume, duration, alarms, and other features using a smartphone app, and the earbuds come with three sets of tips in different sizes to help you find the right fit for your ear. The Bose Sleepbuds also come with a charging case, a wall...

Bose Has a Pricey Winner With Its Sleep-Friendly Earbuds

Sleeping on the weekends is rough. My apartment is across the street from a bar that grows only louder and more crowded in the height of summer, so a good Saturday night snooze is usually out of the question. Raucous drinkers, the thump of the bass...

Incredibly comfortable, great at drowning out sounds, and pretty easy to use.
