But those models have one drawback: They have an open design, which lets sound in. That creates problems when you're in noisy environments.

They're a little expensive.

Bose SoundTrue Ultra

The Bose SoundTrue Ultra are simple in-ear headphones. They don't feature wireless connectivity, nor Bose's amazing active noise-cancellation tech.

Great comfort and solid sound make these a decent pick for the daily commuter.

What are they thinking??

First off, let me say I have the Bose MIE's that have been wonderful earbuds, but unfortunately have started to fall apart. Given the love of the MIE I have, I decided to upgrade to the SoundTru Ultras.

I had a chance to test this and found out the sound quality of this was terrible comparing to the Shure SE535. Unless having a chance to test both at the same time, I should have already made a great mistake purchasing this as I initially found this...
