Philips O'Neill The Stretch Headphones

The name might be a bit naff, but these headphones are anything but.

I'd say the sound quality on these is probably in the $30-$50 range, and I got these on sale for $30. I wouldn't recommend paying much more than that. The real benefit of these headphones over other ones is the comfort. These are BY FAR the most...

They're not monitor headphones, so the cable is pretty short. I got some extenders for less than a buck on some sketchy site to fix this ; The sound quality isn't super amazing, and there's no mic, so don't expect too much

Amazing headphones!

My untrained ears do not find a huge difference between these headphones and the Sennheiser HD595...the Sennheisers must not have been authentic then. Get these when Newegg has a discount on them (I got mine for around $22 with free shipping) And as...

Sound is excellent ; Durability ; Very comfortable ; Nice feature where the cord detaches near the earcup to prevent snagging cord from ripping the headphones off your head ; Color looks ok ; I love the braided cord

In the dog-house

Well, these headphones went on sale and I bought them to use while doing outdoor work. When they arrived, my daughter said her ear-buds were uncomfortable, so I gave her these headphones to try out. She loved them, so I gave them to her. My son is now...

Nice appearance, very comfortable, nice sound, Great exterior sound reduction

As others have mentioned, the volume is a little low, but it is a very full range

Who prices these things?

I got this set because I bought the black set here with the Mic included in the cable and had issues with it. The cable with the mic included works great with iPods and Cell Phones that use the Mic. You have to back it out of the plug a bit to hear...

Aloysius - Keep looking, around the edge and you will solve your mystery ; These are wonderful headphones! They are comfortable. Different at first, and the vacuum feeling was scary, but they seal your ears and block outside noise very well! Durable...

I'm not all giggles and grins about the color, but since these are for my room when I'm watching TV, I didn't care. Only reason I got these instead of keeping the red ones is because I got these with a $47 off coupon. After all my positives with the...

Good deal - update

My previous review of this product citing poor quality, monaural sound was found to be based upon incomplete insertion of plug from earphones into detachable cord. The spring tip of the jack on the cord is tight, and firm pressure is required to fully...

Beautifully packaged by Philips and Newegg ; Impressive looking ; Detachable cord should make replacement simple providing cord does not pull out of left earphone ; Adequate quality sound for mp3 players; more comfortable and durable than earbuds and...

Adjustable" headband is elastic and pushes down on top of head, leading to uncomfortable pressure for me after a few minutes. However, band can be tilted a bit to the rear of the head, ameliorating the pressure

Big disappointment

Plan to return.

Beautifully packaged by Philips and Newegg ; Impressive looking ; Detachable cord should make replacement simple

Non-adjustable headband puts too much pressure on top of head ; Sound quality is judged to be fair to poor ; Audio output found to be MONOAURAL in spite of stereo plug. Compared with another well known product, and test system verified

Very nice headphones

These headphones are just what I was looking for. I like to watch TV with headphones on. I have had so many sets that always wind up with one side or the other shorting out. The cloth cord on these won't allow that to happen. It's very strong. They...

None so far. These headphones are awesome for what I wanted them for

It's alright for the price.

If you have XPS 15 with wave maxx audio, try voice setting (instead of movie or music) and equalizer set to Rock- Hard. It will make sound to somewhat acceptable level. The problem is that I don't think this headset has a good low and mid range driver....

I've used meelectronics HS-21, which is their only over-head supraaural earphone ; 1. It's huge and yet lightweight. (covers my entire ear) ; 2. Cheap (paid $30 during newegg promotion) ; 3. Quality parts (especially the wire. Very nice!). Those are...

1. Sound is somewhat dull and flat. Let's face it, Philips is not Sennheiser or JBL. But since this is their premium audio gear, I expected better ; I honestly can't say if this is any better than $20 meelectronics HS-21 (which I found really really...
