Polk Audio UltraFocus 8000

The Polk Audio UltraFocus 8000 headphones feature better-than-average noise cancellation and powerful audio performance in a very comfortable design.

Powerful audio performance with deep bass and no distortion at top volumes. Active and passive noise cancellation. Quite comfortable. Detachable cable, plethora of adapters add value. On-ear Apple remote control and microphone for iOS devices, phone...

Doesn't output audio in passive mode. Noise cancellation adds audible hiss. Uses AAA batteries rather than a rechargeable option.

Polk Audio UltraFocus 8000 HEADPHONES

The Polk Audio UltraFocus 8000 are a great-sounding, comfortable pair of headphones. They have some flaws in their build design and noise isolation performance but the flexible, flat audio profile is a pleasure to listen to and works well with most...

Comfortable. ; Great audio reproduction. ; Do not leak much sound.

Cumbersome button layout ; Creaky headband. ; Poor noise isolation.

Polk Audio UltraFocus 8000 Active Noise Canceling HeadphonesReview

The esteemed loudspeaker manufacturers have taken all they know about sound and parked it neatly atop our skull. And we love it.

Painstakingly designed, supremely well-built and delivering a truly high-end audio experience, the Polk UltraFocus 8000 headphones are a worthy new addition to the product line of one of the most well-regarded names in home theater speakers, packing up...

Polk Audio UltraFocus 8000 headphones

Street style meets serious sound quality with these noise cancelling cans

Excellent sound quality ; Solid design ; Effective noise cancelling

Noise cancelling not adjustable ; Rubberised plastic finish doesn't scream 'quality

Polk Audio's UltraFocus 8000 headphones combine effective passive and active noise cancelling, a sturdy (and trendy) design and some of the best sound we've heard from active noise cancelling headphones. We wish the noise cancelling could be altered a...

Polk UltraFocus 8000 review

Polk's UltraFocus 8000s are looking to make an impact in the world of noise-cancelling headphones...

Big, exciting sound ; Deep, taut bass ; Clear midrange ; Good detail

Coarseness to some frequencies ; No passive mode ; Noise cancellation could be better

Not the last word in balance or refinement, but a fun and exciting listen all the same

Polk Audio UltraFocus 8000 Headphones Review

In today's world, especially in Mumbai, where everything produces noise and absolutely no care is taken to reduce it, portable entertainment manufacturers are the ones left to finding the solutions. Polk Audio has gone the way of several other...

These headphones have been built for Apple products like the iPod or even Apple laptops. The reason why Polk Audio specifies this on the box is because the buttons on the headphones can only control Apple products. The headphones would work in any...

Polk Audio UltraFocus 8000 headphones

There's been an explosion of options in the headphone world of late. It's not that long ago that you pretty much bought Sennheiser for audio quality and Bose for noise- cancelling (NC) models, but now every man and his dog are making headphones and...

Superior noise-cancelling capability; silky-smooth sound; excellent build quality

Some noise leakage; NC must be turned on to hear audio

Polk has taken on both Beats and Bose, and won. The UltraFocus 8000s are hip, beautifully made, comfortable, great-sounding and able to cancel out high levels of noise. The smaller earcup size of the on-ear Bose QC3s are probably better when trying to...
