Review: Skullcandy Fix

Famous for the garish over-ear headphones that adorn the snowboard and surf set, Skullcandy has come out a few of earbuds that stay true the...

Bass outperforms peers in this price range. In-ear design mutes the bus, or suit from sales

Fragile construction feels cheap, and ours weren’t that durable. Not much sound range, and upper frequencies are weak

Skullcandy FIX In-Ear

Skullcandy's FIX In-Ear is an affordable, secure-fitting iPhone-friendly earphone pair with some notable bass response?but beware of some distortion at high volumes.

Quality audio performance with significant bass response. Secure fit stays in place. Built-in iPhone/iPad/iPod touch controls. Strong value in this price range.

Can distort at maximum volume on deep bass tracks. Controls for iPhones placed in awkward, hard-to-see location.

Skullcandy Fix Review

Earphones stay in even during sweaty workouts ; Very comfortable ; Strong bass and good overall clarity on vocals

Bass can overpower some music genres ; Highs can sound harsh

Beefy bass and a stable fit make Skullcandy's Fix headphones a very good choice for active lifestyles.

First Looks: Skullcandy Fix Buds

Skullcandy's newest ear buds, Fix Buds ($70), set out to settle a long-time problem: that is, buds falling out of your ears. They feature a special hook design that not only fits in the ear canal, but also over the antitragus, the small protrusion...

Philips 50PUS6272 review

This is a much finer Philips TV than its budget price might suggest.

Impressively punchy and dynamic picture quality for the price ; Strong detail and definition ; Good selection of apps ; Ambilight

Looks dreadful out of the box and is a pain to calibrate ; Fairly poor viewing angles ; OS is a faff to use

It’s not perfect, but the 50PUS6272 is as close as you can reasonably expect for £460

Skullcandy FIX review

Skullcandy has released what it's touting as the first set of in-ear buds that won't fall out during movement, even during exercise. Well T3 has taken up that challenge and went for a bit of a jog

Design means they stay put ; You get a lot for your pennies ; Apple remote/mic

Plastic feel ; Bass-heavy ; Audiio could be better

mic breaks up and skips

They are inexpensive but you still expect them to work properly, disappointing

They have a cool skull on them

Using the set on a droid RAZR. When speaking the call breaks up and appears to self mute at times. During the call I can replace it with my old set and all is good

Nice earbuds

Great sound. Got these on sale

Mic and volume control buttons don't work with my Galaxy S3. These are also slightly uncomfortable in my ears unless I position them a certain way

Just ok

For the price, throw away headphones with a mic makes this an ok buy. Great for kids that lose or damage headphones a lot. they are not for audiophiles.

Look OK, have a mic that works with an iPhone. OK bass, not great but just ok. High end very good

Not enough bass. I know ear buds are not usually that great. The iphone 5 ear buds have more bass and they are certainly cheap. The highs are crisp and decent. These run out of power though pretty early. They are best low to medium volume any higher...
