Bottom Line...

 

The same thing happened to me, and everyone else I know who have owned a pair of these. This particular model is defective and should be removed from all shelves. If Stanton had any balls (which they don't) they would recall this item and refund...

Expensive to be so weak

 

The sound and style is great, but the materials are not right to hold together under hard usage (what I supposed they were made for).

beware : don't be fooled by the brilliant sound !

 

I bought these headphones because they seemed like a pretty good deal, lots of pro dj's use them and when I tried them out they sounded great.

they sound great, and the added high/low passes and LED lights are a nice touch

weak materials and joints makes for a poor choice of headphones
