SteelSeries H Wireless Headset

If you don't mind a high price for a device best-suited to a single task, the SteelSeries H Wireless Headset is one of the better wireless gaming headsets you can buy.

Excellent sound quality for games. ChatMix and LiveMix features balance game sounds with clear voice audio.

Expensive. Sound suffers a a bit with music outside of games.

Again, the SteelSeries H Wireless Headset is made for gaming, not general media, and it excels at its job. However, it's still a little disappointing that it doesn't even trump all other gaming headsets given its premium price. For that reason, we...

SteelSeries H Wireless Review (Page 1 of 4)

One time at church, a high school girl came up to me enthusiastically and asked, "Have you seen the new One Direction movie?" -- which, to her disappointment, was a resounding "no". For some reason, many people are quite convinced I am a big fan of...

Has SteelSeries finally perfected the art of creating the best headset for both gaming and music? Well, not exactly; but I am far from being disappointed by the H Wireless. In fact, I am very impressed by the fact it delivers on what it promises to do....

Labs Brief: Steelseries H Wireless gaming headset

Adding a microphone to any old headphones do not maketh them game cans. I think, and Steelseries apparently agrees, in that a separate control box for mixing voice and game audio is essential. This is the key big thing here, with these. Several...

Perfect for games.

SteelSeries H Wireless Headset

If you don't mind a high price for a device best-suited to a single task, the SteelSeries H Wireless Headset is one of the better wireless gaming headsets you can buy.

The H Wireless is built for gaming and that’s where it really shines. It comes with all the cables you’ll need to connect the receiver to any game console or PC and even supports higher-quality optical audio if you have a device that supports it. I...

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Customer service experience ruined an otherwise decent product.

My headset had a tiny little crack in it that expanded to become a big problem. So now my 300$ headset is not comfortably usable, and apparently steel series does not have any possible way to fix that. That coupled with exceptionally slow response...

-Hot swappable batteries are definitely nice. -No interference problems

-Microphone quality is just okay. Not as crisp as other headsets but people could understand me. -Range isn't nearly as advertised, One wall seems to be enough to cause issues sometimes. -Joints are plastic and foam is thin. It's not terrible quality,...

Best headset I ever had

There are headsets in the same price range, that have a LITTLE better quality hearing and mic. but the interchangable battery and the fact that you litteraly never plug it in far outweigh those specs.

5/5 on sound quality 4.5/5 mic quality 5/5 battery life (the one headset that you LITERALLY never have to plug into anything 4/5 comfort I wear it 8-12 hours a day, with school and work both online. It works amazing with my PC, Phone, and PS4. the only...

a little more padding on the top would make this flawless. It has an amazing mic already, I HAVE had better. but still far better than most

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Awesome Sound Poor Execution

There are two outstanding features of this headset: Audio Quality and Wireless. The set is adjustable and can be bent for a perfect fit so they are comfy as well. An adjustable sidetone would be easy to add but Steelseries does not have it so shouting...

Outstanding Audio Quality, Wireless, includes all cables, lies flat on desk when not in use, comfortable to wear

Customer service, no sidetone / mic monitor, no software, no manual, doesn't really work right out of the box, terrible microphone, included optical cable is too short to be useful.

Headset eventually stops working

Horrible RMA process. They don't recognize NewEgg receipts as proof of purchase. They make you take pictures of product and close your RMA in an unreasonably short time frame. It's a shame the customer service is so bad, because they do design...

OK Sound, good mic, comfortable.

The batteries stopped being chargeable, charging can be buggy. Light on features. SteelSeries customer service is pretty bad, it's basicly set up to hope you don't reply in time, then they'll cancel your RMA. They didn't accept my newegg receipt as...
