SteelSeries Siberia 840 review: A minor (and optional) upgrade to the old Siberia 800

The new Siberia 840 adds Bluetooth to the old Siberia 800/H Wireless model, but not much else.

Removable battery (and spare!) means you're always ready to play ; Solid construction ; Base station puts all the controls you need at your fingertip

Weak microphone ; Audio not quite on par with the Astro A50s, let alone "real" $300 headphones ; One of the most expensive gaming-centric headsets you can buy

Still, I think the 840s make a decent contender. Astro and SteelSeries are basically the only ones playing in the $300 end of the sandbox at this point, and I think there are points in favor of both the A50s and the 840s.

SteelSeries Siberia 840 Review: A Wireless Headset With Plenty of Punch

In conclusion, I think the SteelSeries Siberia 840 headset is a gem. I thoroughly enjoyed my time using the device, and found both the aesthetics, performance and dare I say it, battery life, beyond expectations. Sound quality was fantastic, surprising...

SteelSeries Siberia 840

The Siberia 840 succeeds the stellar Siberia 800 – formerly known as the H Wireless – as SteelSeries' top-end wireless headset. Like many that have come before it, the 840 promises to offer gamers dedicated headphone standard audio alongside lag-free...

Expensive, but generally worth it.

SteelSeries Siberia 840 review: A minor (and optional) upgrade to the old Siberia 800

The SteelSeries Siberia 800—once known as the “H Wireless”—has long battled it out with the Astro A50 as our favorite stupidly expensive gaming headset. The A50 had slightly more spacious audio and a more comfortable form factor, while the Siberia 800...

SteelSeries Siberia 840 Bluetooth Gaming Headset Review

Today we will be covering the Siberia 840 Gaming Headset. This headset may look familiar as it is pretty similar to the 800. Not much has changed from that version to the Siberia 840. Except, wait for it, BLUETOOTH and works with the STEELSERIES ENGINE...

BLUETOOTH ; SteelSeries Engine 3 support ; Smooth, glossy finish ; Cutting-Edge Compatibility ; Dolby® Audio ; Swappable Batteries ; Retractable microphone ; Tons of accessories for all you devices

I really wish these had the suspension headband (not really a con but a wish!)

In conclusion, For as many accessories and the difficulty of setting up a wireless headset, SteelSeries has done a bang up job on making the process as seamless as possible. But now we can by pass all that nonsense and use the

Stunning

I read around to find out as much information on the best gaming headset to buy. Every time I read a review of a good headset, it always basically said, this product is good , but if you got the money, buy the Siberia 840s. I took that advice, and I...
