Turtle Beach Ear Force i30 review

Great noise cancelling, solid Bluetooth connectivity and sound quality, and a bundle of unique extras make the i30 a solid choice at $300.

Turtle Beach may have gone out of its way to brand the i30 as “Apple friendly,” and we’ll vouch for that, but it is also true that they are compatible with nearly any Bluetooth-enabled device. We’d appreciate some more color options, but you can do...

Review: Turtle Beach i30 Wireless Headset

Turtle Beach sets its sights on a high-end Bluetooth headset for mobile devices.

Fantastic audio quality- Multiple EQ presets- Solid, comfortable design- Ambient noise virtually eliminated by noise cancellation, over-the-ear cups- Decent rechargeable battery

No call, playback, or Siri/Google Now buttons- Mic effect button is useless, can be triggered accidentally- No compact folding- Oddly-configured auto-shutdown mode

Update, Sept. 16th 2013: Turtle Beach has responded to our review, and now says that the unit we received was pre-release hardware, and not fully documented. You can actually answer a call, for instance, using the Bluetooth button -- this wasn't men

Turtle Beach i30 Wireless Headphones: Australian Review

Turtle Beach is a gaming company, that makes gaming headsets, for gamers. Or is it? The i30 is one of Turtle Beach's newest pairs of headphones, and instead of being made for the Xbox and PlayStation crowd, it's built for iPhone and Android owners. The...

For me, the fit of the Turtle Beach i30 was a little off. The flatness of the earcups meant they didn’t seal perfectly (on my admittedly large head), so if I moved my jaw I could break the seal and let in some ambient noise. This will obviously vary...

Turtle Beach Ear Force i30 Bluetooth headset review

Turtle Beach's i30 Bluetooth headset is not the coolest-looking device on the market, but it has some nice features that may help the company extend its appeal beyond gamers

Turtle Beach i30 review: A worthy Apple accessory?

Built specifically for Apple products, the Turtle Beach Ear Force i30 tones down the company's gaming heritage in favour of Apple-style looks.

The Turtle Beach i30s get a lot of things right. We love the way they sound and the inclusion of plenty of buttons to control playback on-headphone, is a nice touch even if it is a bit jumbled.

I purchased a Turtle Beach i30 some time ago. I was very happy with the product and it did everything it was supposed to do. After several months (but very light use) the covering on the ear pads started to flake off. This did not affect performance...
