Urbanears wireless sports headphone is 'Hella' good (review)

The gym friendly Hellas have a lot going for them, including good sound, a secure, comfortable fit, and a removable headband and ear pads you can stick in the wash.

The Urbanears Hellas are an attractively designed, lightweight, sweatproof wireless Bluetooth headphone with a removable headband and earpads that are washable. The headphones are pretty comfortable (for on-ear) and stay on your head securely, even...

They look a plastic-y, and they work OK, but not great as a headset for cell phone calls. Material on earpads is slightly rough out of the box.

The Urbanears Hellas are an appealing set of wireless workout headphones that can also be used for running and everyday use.

First, it sits on your head securely, making it suitable for running or gym use, and is fairly comfortable for an on-ear headphone though it's a good idea to work it in a bit so it doesn't clamp down on your ears too firmly (the material on the earpads...

They look a plastic-y, and they work OK, but not great as a headset for cell phone calls. Material on earpads is slightly rough out of the box.

Urbanears Active Hellas

The Urbanears Active Hellas are a rare example of workout-friendly, machine-washable on-ear Bluetooth headphones.

Comfortable design with machine-washable earpads and headband padding. Functional touch controls. Solid audio performance.

Sound can use more focus on the highs. No wired connection. Overly sensitive Power control.

Urbanears Hellas review: Washable on-ear wireless headphones

Our Urbanears Active Hellas review takes a look at a pair of on-ear wireless headphones that try to set themselves apart by being washable as well.

Fantastic sound, decent battery life, priced right. Lightweight and comfortable. Washable ear cushions is a bonus for active lifestyles.

Found the ear cushions a bit rough near the beginning.
