Acer Aspire 5573ZWXMi

Acer's portable Aspire 5573ZWXMi notebook is quite easy on the eyes, but it has little going for it when it comes to raw power. Although it offers al...

Battery life, Portable

Performance

The Aspire 5573ZWXMi is a fairly unremarkable notebook. Its performance results aren't great and there are no particularly redeeming features to counter that. We were, however, impressed by its battery life and budget price tag

Wonderful for price!

I've had this little guy for two weeks and have had no problems whatsoever.

I found vista to be annoying at first, but once I figured out how to turn off all the stupid security features it runs great.

Great Laptop

Newegg's price has gone up over a hundred bucks! I ordered 3 of these over a 4 month period, and the price was never over seven hundred. If it's not Newegg's price change, Acer has caught on to how nice these laptops are.

This laptop is lightweight, gets decent battery life for the price, runs Vista Premium with Aero at a good pace. My mom has had this laptop for 4 months and has not managed to crash it or Vista yet. My customers and mother love it, what more could I...

Although very clear and with a great resolution, the LCD could be a little brighter

Excellent Machine..

If you are going to keep vista then clean up some of the start up stuff, or buy two 1 gig memory chips to upgrade. I formatted installed XP and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!! I had one driver issue for the memory card reader and pcmcia slot. No XP driver on...

Everything!! If you want a laptop that you can use as an everyday computer then look no further... If you want a gamer buy a custom DESKTOP... NO LAPTOP is a good gamer. I have owned this for 4 months with no hardware issues... PLEASE SEE MY OTHER...

VISTA! Why are all new computers coming pre-loaded with Vista... No other problems

Solid General Use Laptop

I'm not a very patient person, so I'll be looking to upgrade the Ram. Before that, I'll probably try to remove all the unwanted software. Its a solid laptop for student use, definitely not for gaming. If you want to play any somewhat recent games, even...

Good specs for the money, even though its a lower end Dual-Core processor, its still good compared to others. Excellent Wifi card. Size and Weight are ideal for transporting, it fits in a backpack and is very light. Very slick looks. The quick access...

You have to be patient when using this laptop, the boot-up and shutdown times are very slow, I don't know if thats Vista's fault in design or if its just slow. 1 Gig of Ram is only minimum and you can feel it too. The processor, as I said, was one of...

Good deal for the Price

Good looking display, dvd burner, wireless works fine and Acer preloaded utilities are pretty good.

The display blacks out for a half-second often and I get a message that it is using the XP or Vista color scheme.
