Adesso WKB-3000UB Wireless Keyboard

Get rid of the mess of cables and cords with the new WKB-3000UB wireless keyboard from Adesso. But one glance and you will realize that this product is not just your normal input device. It features a built in mouse via a 27mm optical trackball and...

It's always nice to have more than one opinion on a component before you spend your hard earned money. For one, we may see something others missed, or vice versa. As with all reviews published at HardwareLogic, we'll not only give you our...

convenient locations of trackball and buttons

The keyboard is highly unresponsive. While i type, it misses letters, and I have to ; constantly press backspace to fix spelling ; They should've used buffers to resend unsuccessful key transmission ; I didn't have this kind of problem with the...

Adesso HTPC Keyboard

Many users complained of the keyboard missing keys or not being very responsive. I found that the range affects this - the further away you are the higher the likelihood of sluggish responsiveness. If you are using this keyboard like I am for a HTPC...

Wireless ; Media Control Keys (Play/Pause/Stop) ; Volume Control ; Combined Keyboard+Mouse

Quality is not 100%. My first keyboard lasted about a year and a half before the mouse stopped working. Since other than the quality the keyboard/mouse combo is perfect for the home theater pc ; Range (This can be resolved by using a USB extension...

Plan to throw it away

Nice layout and overall one of the best HTPC keyboards available...if only it lasted

It doesn't last. I build HTPCs and have been trying to find a decent keyboard for 8+ years and to this day the market is nothing but flawed garbage. For a while I thought this was the one. I bought two to test and they both failed within 6 months. ...

Don't waste your money

Nice layout, very comfortable design

I bought this unit about 3 years ago for my HTPC. Worked ok, would lose signal from time to time. Had to once in a while go back and reset the ID to get it to communicate from time to time. After 3 years, it died. Some of the keys fail to work now....

Going strong after 4 years!

Funky character NUMLOCK enabled by default. Gotta start buying more of these for my Home theater customers :o)

Great battery life and range. DO NOT USE RECHARGEABLE batteries. They don not provide enough voltage ; My customers all want one

2.4GHZ gets interference from my WRT160N during sustained streaming or file transfer and BLOCKS keyboard transmissions. Fixed it by purchasing a long USB cord and placed receiver far away from router and closer to keyboard. Also can get interference...

Its ok, not great

I used this as a multimedia pc interface and for the most part it was acceptable. Some lag time when typing and intermittent cutting out when something gets in between usb connector and keyboard, ie keyboard in lap and legs up. One day the mouse just...

Compact. Fairly comfortable. Great distance when line of sight

Mouse ball no longer works after 1 year 2 months. When your not line of sight with usb connector the connection can cut in and out. It will pick-up interference from time to time and the usb connector goes active. Pulling the pc out of sleep mode

Doesn't last

Not a bad keyboard if you don't mind dropping 70 bucks a year for a keyboard. I do,

Good range, ergonomics are fantastic, the mouse scroll and left/right buttons are in the perfect spot. Range was fantastic. I am a fan of adesso keyboards, I use a wired one at work daily

Keyboard drops characters horribly if your leg touches the front of the keyboard (in middle) while typing. You have to spread you legs to type, made for ackward typing on my lap. The track ball stopped responding well after a year, it would skip around...

Works half the time

I use this with an HTPC about 8 ft in front of me with direct line of sight. I have to use on of the front USB ports to get "OK" functionality. If I use a rear, it works maybe 20% of the time. Great idea, poor follow through.

Keyboard and mouse in one with very convenient right and left buttons and scroll wheel

Extremely unreliable. I was unable to create an RMA so I'm stuck with this for now

Good for my uses

right" mouse button always wakes it up with one keystroke.

I use these keyboards for my BlueTiger motion simulators. I need wireless with a pointing device and this fills the bill

If I was concerned with a lot of typing or data entry this would not be my choice. Perfect for my needs or for say a media center controller
