left alt key

Sadly, CM has QC issues. I have another Cooler Master mechanical keyboard I use at work, it's great. Guess I don't trust this brand anymore.

The keyboard is nice, I like it. Seems sturdy.

My left alt key was dead on arrival. Is there no quality control? Now they want me to pay to ship this broken junk back. Adding insult to injury, try doing a google search for "rapid left alt key", it's apparently a common problem.

Excellent Keyboard

The missing numpad makes for a sleeker and smaller looking keyboard which I love. Can't beat it at this price!

I've had this beast of a keyboard going three years now. Has the crisp key sounds of any $150 mechanical keyboards and performs much better in my opinion. I've had nearly all of the Razer keyboards and this thing hasn't only outlasted them but...

Doesn't have a num pad? Is that really a con though? They're like $5 at wally world

Short LED Lifespan

Noticed two LED's died within a couple months, did some research and found out this is a common thing for a few of their keyboards. About a year later I now have 12 dead and probably more to come. Research before you buy. Cooler Master - Invest in...

LED's don't last

After six months, I have 3 LED's burnt out. I can't wait to hear how much it'll cost me in shipping to fix CM's miserable LED selection. The micro usb connector is starting to wobble too, but that's just because I have to disconnect and reconnect the...

Good keyboard/bad cable design

I have had this keyboard for 2 years now and while I loved it I don't think i would buy it again. The keyboard itself is absolutely wonderful in the fact that the keys feel great, it is nice and compact for gaming on the go, and it feels solid like I...

-Great keyboard design -compact and easy to transport for those on the go gamers -keys feel amazing

-USB cable is prone to loose connection -left windows key and alt key are prone to bad connection and quit working

Nice switches, good to type on.

This keyboard died one day after the replacement RMA expired. The board suddenly stopped working one day and no matter what I did it, my computer would not recognize the device. I tried reinstalling USB drivers, using the board on a different machine,...

CM Storm Quickfire Rapid

Got this for it's Xim4 compatibility. Great little keyboard, does what it's supposed to, and it's mechanical.

If you are left handed, you may miss having a numpad. My left handed friend uses the arrow keys instead of WASD and of course the keys he usually uses are missing because there's no numpad.

If you're coming straight from a rubber dome, I do NOT recommend this keyboard or the Cherry MX Red switches for you. You'll want to bottom out and there'd be no point for you to get a Mech Keyboard. Please go out and try other key switches before...

Felt, good to type with. Nice and easy typing experience. Love the MX red's even though I prefer brown's. Key's are soft and easy to touch and the actuation force is astounding. I don't really have to type that hard for me to get the actuation force to...

Heavy. Mine has the rubber stands that are nice, but the right side is smooth and has no rubber coating. You can feel the lettering and the keys are smooth. Finally the keycap remover that comes with the keyboard isn't that great and easily slips out...
