Das Keyboard doesn't offer a 10keyless option. I don't need a number pad and wanted to go as minimal as I could. This was the best option.

I was looking to upgrade from a cheap keyboard I bought in a hurry when I built my system. I was nervous about spending the $$ for a DasKeyboard, but now I have to say it was money well spent. I broke the keyboard in on a 30 page paper for school and...

Absolutely none. Even the annoying glances my wife gives me on occasion when my typing really ramps up are worth it

Best keyboard I've ever used

This is an amazing keyboard. "Silent" is definitely a misnomer, but the switches have a nice, definite feel without the hard "kah-chunk" of a Model M or other classic mechanical 'board ; Other than the cost, there's no reason not to buy this keyboard

Pricey. This is only an issue if you consider your wrists or the accuracy of your typing/gaming/etc. to be worth <$100 of investment over a cheaper keyboard

I bought this to replace the great merc stealth. I miss the back lighting, but got 4 green keys from Das to replace my WASD keys as I use this for FPS and typing mostly. The difference between this keyboard and the merc and any other keyboard was night...

Solid construction and near perfect key actuation. The first time I typed on the keyboard it felt like no other. Every key presses right and true and feels perfect. Nice finish on the board. LED lights are not too bright

I suppose the glossy finish, but that is not a big deal to me. People whining about the noise. Silent means quieter as Das says on their website

Das Keyboard Silent S

I was looking for a keyboard that was as good for gaming as it is for typing, and I found it. Keys are clicky and responsive, and provide the perfect amount of feedback with minimal force. The keyboard is really substantial (it weighs about 5 lbs, if I...

As others have said, even though this is called a "silent" keyboard, that's a bit of a stretch. It's silent by mechanical keyboard standards for sure, but you couldn't use this at work without complaints from coworkers. Typing on a mechanical keyboard...

Good replacement for my IBM M

This board is worth investing.

Keyboard is just great. Key pressing is so smooth ... like knife in butter :) ; Even my 6 yr old nephew loves this keyboard

Board is heavy but keys are not firm as IBM M of my office ... keys feel wobbly. Just like many mentioned here .. for me too board itself is too glossy

Outstanding Keyboard

I recently purchased this keyboard elsewhere because it is overpriced on Newegg. Its a shame too, because I love buying from them and would be willing to pay a little more just because of their great customer service, but I found it for almost $40...

Fully mechanical; you will never go back to using a membrane keyboard after using a mechanical ; Cherry Brown switches feel great! They are an excellent balance of a substantial feel when pressing the key and ease of use. IMO they are the best key...

USB hub is in an awkward place. Why are they on the right side when most people are right handed ; No wrist rest. For touch typists this isn't really an issue, but for gamers it is. I recommend investing a 3rd party one if you game for long periods of...

Starcraft Das Keyboard

Looks Great ; Heavy ; Solid ; This is excellent for starcraft, I am a high masters zerg player and this keyboard helps me improve my game. I don't have to worry about my keyboard responding correctly, this does what you tell it to do immediately and...

None - I wish there were more selections however for Das Keyboards

Best Keyboard Ever

I wish the USB ports were on the back as opposed to the side. I use this at home and plan on buying another for work.

This keyboard is very high quality. When you get it out of the box you can feel the firmness of it. It's not flimsy and light like rubber dome keyboards. The keys provide a very sexy typing experience. Depending on how hard you type will depend on the...

Great product but not silent

Absolutely the best quality keyboard I have ever had the privilege of typing on

This model is labeled silent, but it is not in any capacity. if this is the 'quiet' model I am worried to know what the 'regular' sound is. In an office atmosphere this is borderline ~acceptable

Das Keyboard DASK3PROMS1SI Black USB Wired Standard Model S Professional Silent Keyboard

I had to write this review after seeing some people list its tactile feedback and key resistance as a con. This keyboard has cherry mx brown switches which has the lightest resistance switch out of all the cherry mx switches. All keyboards with brown...

great typing feel ; quiet compared to cherry mx blue switches ; heavy ; solid contruction

glossy finish
