Consumer review (newegg.com)

NOT Recommended

Newegg is a great online retailer but they should discontinue selling products of such shoddy design. Save your time and money by avoiding this item.

The keyboard is light yet solid

I purchased this keyboard to use with my XBOX 360 for messaging, Netflix/Youtube searches, etc. The keyboard suffers from poor range and unintended duplicate key strokes. The wireless dongle was inserted in the back of the XBOX which is located about 7...

Nice Keyboard

Overall, I like the size, feel and features of the keyboard. I did encounter some interferance/delays in typing or other such stuff due to reception problems, but I was able to resolve them by attaching the receiver to a USB extension cable and also by...

It works- nice size good layout with number pad!!! :) very light

I don't like how bright the LEDs are (little bit of black electrical tape took care of that) and I don't particulary care for how the "enter" key takes up 2 lines and has a crouded numbers row with a small backspace key (I like my dell's layout better...

Good

I own a full keyboard by the same company. I was highly impressed with the product, and needed a wireless keyboard as well. I turned to i-rocks again, and they didn't let me down. The mini keyboard works like expected, and will continue to do business...

The thing does double and triple type letters as others have posted. I'm using it right now and it seems to be behaving, but it acts up often enough that I want to replace it ; The rangge e ispooor (ooh i ginxxedd myself). It would not work aat all...

BEWARE!

Please newegg.com discontinue this brand with something less mass produced chinese-esh and replace the sales with something that Americans can be proud about. Thanks.

None

As someone else already stated, this keyboard is unusable. Please do not waste your money on this keyboard, spend it on a company that actually cares about a returning customer base. The cares refuse to work most of the time and you have to remove the...

i-rocks RF-6490-BK Black USB RF Wireless Mini Keyboard

None

This keyboard was unusable. It repeated characters, omitted characters and was very slow to echo what was typed. I returned it

Pretty sweet

Inexpensive, differently colored text on special keys (like PgUp, PgDn, etc.), thin and light, excellent key feel - like a laptop! - and the USB dongle for it is about the size of small fingernail. That's great because I've plugged it into the front...

It makes me want more

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Works dandy!

I really wanted a small, slim keyboard for HTPC use that I could stow away easily next to my couch. This fits the bill perfectly.

It makes letters, numbers, and other fancy characters appear on my screen! Hard to comment on range since it never goes further than about 2 meters from my HTPC, with an almost direct line of sight

The occasional very slight delay between the click of a key and when the character appears. Hardly a nuisance for me for HTPC use, but heavy duty users may want a more expensive keyboard with faster response

Perfect for my HTPC Setup

I'm going to give this 5 eggs though I could have easily gone with 4 due to the range. I had to plug the dongle into a USB hub that has line of site to my couch if I want to use it while sitting on the couch to ensure all key strokes work. If you're...

Small, lightweight, excellent tactile feel, price (Cyber Monday Deal), Wireless, easy to type on, etc

Wireless range not as advertised

Nice for the price

best cheap RF keyboard out there. Would have been 5 eggs if it lasted another year.

very nice layout, keyboard tactile feel is good (for $35) RF range is good (20-30 feet?) very small keyboard. I thought it was perfect. Battery life is good (6-8 months on HTPC)

the batteries it comes with are dead, toss them in the trash when you get it. Sometimes looses signal and needs to reconnect with the little "connect" button on the bottom. Sometimes it gets "confused" and you need to remove the batteries and put them...
