Time Tested

Purchased this in 2007 and still use to this day. Excellent feel to keys. Small footprint. Nice weight. Highly recommended

Silver trim will fade to a beige color where the hand touches such as under the space bar. Texture of faded region is unchanged

Best keyboard ever

Best desktop keyboard I have every used. The scissor-switch keys give excellent feedback and bounceback. The keyboard is very quiet ; The media keys along the top are convenient and small. No bloated extra keyboard plastic to fit any big buttons up there

The main con is that it was discontinued and is incredibly hard to find. I bought 2 a few years ago when they went on clearance and my last unit was on it's final leg this month when I was lucky enough to find a single used one that popped up on...

Best Keyboard

I have had two of these. One I had to buy from a shady dealer 6 months ago because they have been discontinued. Its only small places with old stock that sell them.

Favorite keyboard of all time. Perfect feel

Chrome eventually wears off

Backslash key??

Seriously, this is a really great keyboard. The scissor action is super snappy. Spilled a drop of soda on a key, the key started sticking, and when I went to clean it, the keys pop up on hinges! Just approach it from the bottom. Very nice.

Very lightweight and extremely responsive. Looks great ; Love this keyboard

I take issue with the added left hand backslash key that they put just to the left of the spacebar. I have been gaming for many years, and have grown accustom to my left thumb thoughtlessly striking the alt key that is usually there on most keyboards....

Very Nice!

I have a pretty small desk and was looking for something that would fit in my keyboard drawer along with my mouse. That was pretty much my criteria for buying this but I've come to love just about everything about it. I'd also like to note that while...

I love typing on this thing. I think I type faster and more accurately on it than on a standard style keyboard. It looks really nice, even though it is quite inexpensive. All the media buttons/sleep/calculator button all work great

Only thing I can think of is why, oh why, are the forward/back seek media buttons in the opposite order as normal (seek forward is to the left, back is to the right of it). Look closely in the pictures and you'll see what I'm talking about

great keyboard (also for gaming!)

long story short i bought a Steelseries 7g ($150!!!) mechanical keybaord because i liked my old model M from IBM which my mom threw away... but after seeing that the keys pop off when you type on the 7g i went to the next best thing from mechanical...

like the guy said in another review. it's great for gaming. half distance needed to actuate the key = speedier typing / gaming ; compact... do not need to move hands at all, only the fingers to reach literally any key on the board ; cheap

the left-hand backslash is kind of odd.... they could have made that alt key or space key bigger.. (this is easy to get used to)

still going strong!

for the laptop keyboard lovers, this is a great desktop choice. quality built for great value. cant go wrong.

I gotta say, I love this keyboard and have been using it since 2004! and still going strong til this day as I type. Laptop keys style, not to big nor small, just right size (imo). no missing/broken buttons, quite sturdy. I'd recommend

Well it's slim...

This is a surprisingly good gaming keyboard. The compact nature gives you access to the function keys without having to reposition your hand from where it is naturally at WASD. This means that you can hit 1-5 and F1-F5 without even looking. Thought the...

Great keyboard ; The buttons are sturdy and have a low profile. They almost feel like higher quality laptop keys ; The silver around the edge adds a subtle, yet distinct look ; all the functions keys work, including the sleep function, without having...
