Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum

Logitech's G810 Orion Spectrum is a low-key, high-quality, customizable gaming keyboard that's better suited to occasional players than serious gamers.

Customizable lighting and media controls, with programmable function keys. Comes with 300 preloaded game lighting profiles. Proprietary key switches and 26-key rollover enhance game performance. Software offers stat tracking.

Lack of dedicated macro keys and wrist rest may irk serious gamers. Switches sensitive for regular typing. Software tools can be confusing. Too pricey for casual gamers.

Conclusion If you're looking to buy a customizable, high-performance gaming keyboard that's unobtrusive yet stylish, then the Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum is worth considering. But it might be too minimalist in design and functionality for hard-core...

Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum Review – Elegant, simple, and awesome

For the past 10 years, with a few exceptions, I've called the Microsoft Ergonomic 4000 my keyboard of choice. I've bought probably nine or 10 of them over the years, hammering through one every couple years thanks to hours and hours of daily typing....

It’s worth noting, too, that if you’re planning on picking up a keyboard in the near future and you’re interested in Tom Clancy’s The Division, right now this keyboard and the G910 both come with a free copy of that game. At $159.99 for the keyboard,...

Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum Review — Keys to Success

The Logitech Orion Spectrum is a beautiful keyboard with a lot of smart features to suit a wide variety of gamers. The Romer-G keys are a love-it-or-tolerate-it proposition, and I have a few quibbles about the software and typing experience. Otherwise,...

Elegant design ; Great performance ; Comfortable keys ; Gorgeous backlighting

Some software oddities ; Not the fastest for typing

The Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum is an attractive, versatile keyboard with a fantastic interface and sensible extra features.

Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum Keyboard Review

We review the Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum, outfitted with the company's own Romer-G switches instead of the industry standard Cherry, plus full RGB lighting.

Romer-G switches are quieter than Cherry ; Beautiful lighting ; Dedicated media buttons and volume roller

Extra ping noise when typing ; Keys caps show too much finger-grease shine ; Romer-G stems not Cherry compatible

If you’re in for conservative looks but want some of the best backlighting you’ll find on a keyboard, consider the G810. You’ll either love or hate its relatively soft, lightweight, shallow-travel Romer-G switches.

Review: Review: Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum gaming keyboard

I learnt to type on a desktop. A desktop typewriter, that is. An enormous clunky thing with a key travel that must have been a good 25mm and required a

Excellent feel, very solid, very useful and controllable backlighting, ability to save and share profiles

Fairly tall so may take a little to get time to get used to

Clean elegant design, with practical accessory buttons, flexible backlighting, compact size, durable enough to last a lifetime

Lack of wrist rest and USB ports, way too many dynamic lighting options - they may impress your friends, but are too distracting to use.

Exactly what I was looking for, highly recommend

It is a really great quality, easy to use and easy to customize keyboard that I will recommend endlessly, it hasn't let me down at all since I got it. When I purchased the keyboard it also came with Tom Clancy's The Division which I was already...

This keyboard seemed to have everything that I wanted for a keyboard and none of its features disappointed. The rgb lighting is beautiful and the lighting software is easy to use and it syncs wonderfully to my Logitech mouse. Not to mention the...

I personally don't have any issue with this keyboard but there are some things that I know for a fact others will have issues with such as: The lack of dedicated macros. The keyboard does have macros (I don't and haven't ever used macros) but they are...

Wonderful "grown up" keyboard from Logitech

But other than those two little annoyances this is a wonderful keyboard

This is a great keyboard. Logitech finally has seemed like it has "grown up" by which I mean it looks nothing like the G910 Orion Spark. The switches are pretty good. They seem to give pretty decent feedback similar to Cherry MX browns which are my...

Con #1 - Switches are faster then their Cherry competitors, however I find that they are a little too touchy sometimes since it doesn't take much to activate the switch. I find myself making quite a bit more typos then I normally would. Im sure the...
