Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000

Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 8000

· New! Vertical right side allows the side of the user's hand to rest comfortably on the desk.

Ergonomic Design ; Laser Technology ; Battery Indicator

Not a good design for small hands ; Not Bluetooth ; Not using Firstconnect Technology ; No On/Off Switch ; Left Buttons Awkward

The Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 is a good first step for Microsoft in providing a well designed ergonomic mouse to customers. While a bit awkward for myself, I can see how the design of this mouse is geared to reduce the pressure on...

Not Microsoft's Best Bluetooth Mouse

I was eventually able to successfully install this on my existing WIDCOMM based Bluetooth transceiver.

It uses Bluetooth, which frees me from having yet another 2.4GHz wireless standard around my PC. Microsoft's first full size *desktop* Bluetooth mouse with recharging capabilities

The two side buttons, are very awkwardly placed. The older Intellimouse 5-button standard (two on the left side) was much easier to use. Since recharging this mouse uses +5v, they should have included an USB cable just to power the recharging cradle,...

Microsoft 4CH-00012 Aluminium 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel Bluetooth Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 - OEM

No tactile clicks in the scroll wheel-- some people prefer this. I don't.

Great mouse. Pairs with both my Macbook (in both OS X and Windows) and my Mac mini. Comes with two rechargeable batteries

Intellipoint drivers make mouse movement feel awkward, even after considerable configuration-- I ended up uninstalling them and just going with the default OS X drivers. Mouse doesn't report its battery life in the Keyboard & Mouse Preferences like...

Great Mouse!

Get the OEM version which is much cheaper than paying for the boxed version of the mouse (1/2 the price).

Bought this mouse for my new laptop. I wanted a Bluetooth mouse so I didn't need to worry about a dongle. I installed the driver, paired the mouse to my lapotp & it's been working great ever since. Seems to be as responsive as my other wireless mice

After the laptop comes out of sleep mode, I sometimes need to pick up the mouse & put it back down to get it going. Not enough to lower the rating & is common for bluetooth devices

Lemon

I was (attempting) to use this mouse with my new Intel MacBook Pro and OS X (10.5.4). I would recommend the Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000... smaller but well built and functional.

Great overall design, full-size, BT mouse with battery indicator and really nice dock to charge it

Side buttons _horribly_ misplaced - seriously. My main complaint though is the latency and lag. Mind you I was not using the supplied bluetooth dongle, but the lag made this mouse 110% unusable. I knew after 1 hour of use that it was going to be...

Hot mouse

I really like this mouse and use it to death for gaming, music editing, photo editing etc. It has yet to die on me and I have probably charged it about 3 time since owning it and have used it every day.

Easy to connect, long battery life, good range, stays connected, recharges quick, comfortable, good buttons tracks great

Could be a little cheaper

Suprisingly satisfied

Despite the software annoyances I am still very satisfied with the mouse itself and the fact that it worked pretty much as expected with my onboard bluetooth module.

Highly accurate and very responsive, the mouse outperformed my every expectation

The included version of their software has a rather critical flaw in XP if you are using an onboard bluetooth module (which I am) that causes the software to crash after resuming from standby. An update to the software downloaded manually from the...
