Razer Basilisk V2 review

The new, improved Basilisk might be Razer's best wired mouse yet.

Best in-class optical sensor ; More comfortable than the original ; Adjustable scroll wheel resistance ; Plenty of programmable buttons

Left and right buttons feel a touch flimsy ; More expensive than Razer’s Deathadder V2

The Razer Basilisk V2 takes an already-solid gaming mouse and makes it better, with an improved sensor, better design and customizable scroll wheel tension.

Razer Basilisk Ultimate

Great hand fit and feel, with solid thumb support. Nifty charging dock. Wheel-tilt inputs. Strong new sensor. Wireless operation without noticeable input lag.

Pricey. DPI paddle could be a little short for your hand.

The Razer Basilisk Ultimate is a killer, all-purpose wireless gaming mouse for serious PC gamers driven to pull out all the stops.

Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming Mouse Review: Value Performer

The Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed punches above its weight class.

Excellent wireless connectivity ; Ergonomic design ; Strong in-game performance

Doesn’t support any wired connections ; Relies on last-gen Razer technology ; AA battery, not rechargeable

The Basilisk X HyperSpeed proves specs don’t tell the full story by offering nigh identical performance to newer--and more expensive--models.

Razer Basilisk Ultimate Gaming Mouse Review: Stealthy Wireless Assassin

New competition for Logitech's G502 Lightspeed.

Long battery life and fast charging ; Incredibly responsive sensor and buttons ; Intuitive software suite

Sensitivity clutch button can be hard to reach ; Optical switch mouse buttons lack satisfying click of mechanical switch buttons ; Pricey

Razer’s subtle, yet RGB-friendly, mouse has the looks, feels and welcoming software needed to make it worthy of its premium pricing.
