Back for a second one

If SIIG would produce these without the USB hub/ports and sell it for $20 less, I'd buy at least 4 of them just to be certain I have spares available.

Addition to my previous review from 2015-02-22: I'm back to buy another, and well worth the money ; Brilliant feel to the keys. Can type as fast or faster than on an old 101 key Lexmark ; Works perfectly in moderate gaming, mostly older games though...

One real con, one trivial quibble ; The con is that for some reason it stopped working when plugged into a powered USB hub. I've been using it in that configuration since February without any problems, suddenly this morning it just flat doesn't work...

I personally love the scissor switch feeling on a keyboard. I tend to type so much faster on them than other mechanical switch or membrane types. I got this keyboard because I needed a new replacement for my old Bytec keyboard I got at F r y 's for $15...

Solid. Aluminum body. Excellent tactile feedback with scissor switches. Build in USB hub. STANDARD key layout

keyboard is elevated just a little too much where the USB ports are for my liking. No adjustable height/angle. USB ports are USB2 only

So far it's brilliant

I'm one of those guys who literally had a large box full of the old IBM/Lexmark 101 key keyboards and got them rebuilt as needed until the compatibility issues got too annoying. This is the first keyboard I've ever come across that's actually better...

Only had it a few days so reliability is still unknown ; Fantastic feel to the keys, absolutely precise and absolutely consistent ; Very high quality build, feels rock solid. Heavy enough ; A product has to really exceed my expectations to get 5 stars...

Not a con, but as others have mentioned the blue LEDs for Num Lock/Caps Lock/Scroll Lock bleed over, so if the center LED is on (Caps lock) it looks like it's on "high beam" and the other two are on "low beam ; It's completely harmless but it does...

Piece of Junk

I've used another major brand of keyboard for many years. The last one lasted 11 years and still works - the letters are just wearing out. With all the good reviews, I thought I'd try to heavier aluminum keyboard. My mistake. JUNK!!!!!!!

Great feel. I loved it. Until

I've used this keyboard about 5 weeks. It arrived, and the left side ALT key was sticky, especially if I did not hit it dead center. OK. I decided to live with that and see it how worked out ; Yesterday, the CAP LOCK light quit working - OR - when it...

Just get it. I'm glad I did.

Solid feel and weight. Great quality ; Shorter keystroke length, Laptop-ish. Thats what I was looking for ; Keys strike well and true

Not as quiet as it could be, but its worth it for the feel ; No back-lighting. But you know that already

Great Keyboard

I purchased this keyboard looking for a replacement to a great keyboard I had that got wet ; Exact same touch, wonderful to use for long periods of time, 2 usb ports work great with Logitech track ball and one additional wireless mouse ; Sturdy,...

What I was looking for

Several years ago I was looking for a keyboard with laptop-style "scissor switch" keys that was full size and was a native Windows keyboard. It took tons of searching and I eventually found one from a somewhat sketchy site. In any event, it cost about...

Exactly what I was looking for, solid construction, laptop-style "scissor switch" keys, full size keyboard, native Windows configuration (as opposed to Mac). I've only had it for about half a day, but all I need to know I can tell quickly. See other...

It's wired, which obviously I knew going into it and doesn't really bother me... it's more that I'd prefer to at least have the option to buy this same keyboard in a wireless version. Not really a con for this keyboard, but a con for SIIG not offering...

Perfect Programming and Gaming Keyboard

The actual manufacturer of this keyboard is Precision Squared (pstc.com.tw) and they make fantastic scissor-switch keyboards. If you want a Mac-layout keyboard, check out the MacAlly IceKey -- it's basically the same keyboard, but with a plastic body.

Scissor-switch keys, which provide the most comfortable typing experience ; Perfect keyboard layout: standard-size backspace and backslash keys, and no silly L-shaped enter key ; Seems pretty durable to me: I've been using it for several months...

I'd rather have play/pause than sleep in the top right ; It probably doesn't have any special anti-ghosting technology, but it works fine for gaming with WASD and DCAS key layouts

Great Aluminum keyboard!

Love this keboard. Quiet like a quality laptop but very substantial , profesiona feel. I love typing on it every day. Solid aluminum case is great and heavy enough not to slide around. The simpe, strightforward style is very elegant. Has volume,...

Wired, but not a problrm for me...ver responsive
