SpecResearch MKS-301(PS/2) Black 104 Normal Keys 15 Function Keys PS/2 Standard 3-in-1 Multimedia combo

For the money, it is a great deal

the speakers are easily effected by neighboring wires and will pick up static. The keyboard is finicky and requires some getting used to

Combo not worth it

I kept the keyboard (its alright) and used a different mouse and speakers.

It got here on time and some of it still works

The keyboard takes some time to get used to. The plug for the speakers ALWAYS comes out (even if you nudge it) so your sound dies and you have to position the cord just right, and then the mouse went haywire (the mwheel and left clicker switched...

Bought this combo about 3 years ago and had good service with them till they got waters by my grandson

they could have left the speakers out because they are not worth the extra shipping but didnt get the combo for thw speakers anyway

Good Keyboard/Mouse, Bad Speakers

If not for the failed speakers, I would have given it a 5/5.

Easy to use, compact keyboard; mouse responds excellently

Magnetic shielding failed on the speakers five months into use, causing interference to any electronics within a three foot radius. Didn't like having to search the internet for the proper drivers for the keyboard, it should have been on a disk...

Nifty little combo

Either way, good for low/mid end builds where someone is not going to be doing alot of precise inputs, (games and stuff) over all it's decent really, but the price is what get's it the 5 stars

Really good deal. If your doing a low/mid in build for someone this will save on your budget. speakers have decent sound, mouse feel is not bad, keyboard is pretty solid

Keep in mind this is a bargin combo deal, while IMHO it's a good deal. it does not have any flashy looks, and it kinda looks a bit cheap. arrow keys on the keyboard are..how to say...strange

Best Value and Quality

Quality here is good for any system - can't beat the NE deal either!!

This keyboard/mouse/speakers combo is by-far, the best value and quality for the money. The keyboard feel and mouse resolution are very nice, at far less than MSF or Logi... Works right out of the box

great value

other users getting DOAs is worrying, but for me, this worked out great, I couldn't ask for much more for the price

everything works, very sleek designs, doesn't even have tacky company logos(maybe SpecResearch is ashamed of themselves, but I dunno why), speakers have volume dial & headphone jack, volume on the speakers is also decent(they don't get too loud, but...

some keyboard keys have odd depression(especially enter key, which feels odd if pressed at an angle), personally don't like the smaller backspace & larger enter, mouse-wheel sometimes causes scrollbars to flicker up & down(very tolerable though)

Great deal

Have not hooked up the speakers so no comment on them.

Keyboard and mouse work like champs. Installed on a Windows XP machine and no driver software required for the multimedia keys. Mouse clicks and points like any other mouse

The huge box newegg shipped it in
