Bought for my wife

Bought for my wife as a solid basic laptop she can using for her sewing designs, watching Netflix, surfing the web, etc... all of which it performs flawlessly at doing.

- Great price - Solid performance for a standard laptop used mainly for email, web surfing, storing of files, etc...

Laptop is ruined by recurring loss of wireless connection

The laptop is fine ... except for its absolutely maddening dropping of wireless connectivity. Ever since I bought this sad little beast, the internet connection drops out every few minutes, then mysteriously reappears a few minutes later. I've tried...

- Decent price - Good keyboard - also appreciate the numeric keypad

- Regularly loses wireless internet connection

Great for a few reasons

All-in-all it's a great school/everyday use laptop. I use mine exclusively for Skype video calls and have yet to have an issue. It's a great everyday use laptop, perfect for students and work alike. Will update if anything should change.

You simply don't see deals like this too often. Cheap yet solid laptop that's great for Office work, browsing, and movies.

- Good HDD space - Performs well with Office, Firefox, Chrome - Runs cool, idle and with sustained processor use - Touchpad is good size and responsive - Quiet keyboard strokes (great for when you have a light-sleeping newborn) - It's not Windows 8 -...

Resolution could be better, but if you don't plan on hooking this up to a larger monitor, it's fine for the 15 inch screen.

Very fast and stylish

This is a great laptop for everyday use. I have a lenovo T420 that is a bit faster since it has an I7 processor, but this one comes a close second in regards to performance. The keyboard is also amazing to type on as there is little flex and the keys...

This computer is very fast and is quick to process large quantities of data rather efficiently. It also does not produce large quantities of heat like other laptops and runs relatively quietly. The windows 7 it is equipped with also seldom crashes like...

I found it fascinating that this laptop does not come with the crystal eye software that is required to run the webcam. I called Acer and they provided little help in getting the required software. Apparently this laptop does not ship with the crystal...
