Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 14 (A01-431-C1FZ)

The Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 14 is an inexpensive laptop that leverages cloud services like a chromebook. And since it runs Windows 10, all of your legacy apps and plug-ins will still work.

Windows 10 system for a nice price. 64GB of flash storage. 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. Comes with one-year subscription to Office 365 and OneDrive. Almost 14 hours of battery life in testing.

1,366-by-768 screen shows some pixelation.

Conclusion The Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 14 is a relatively average budget laptop. Its one extraordinary feature is its almost 14 hours of battery life. The Cloudbook 14 successfully leverages cloud and online services for day-to-day use, though its...

Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11 Netbook Review

Chromebook opponent. Acer woos customers with decent battery runtimes and noiseless operation. That could be entirely successful at a price of 260 Euros (~$283). In addition, a one-year license for Office 365 Personal is included.

matte screen, noiseless operation, decent battery life, 2-year warranty, one-year Office 365 Personal license

cannot be upgraded, tight storage capacity

With the Cloudbook, Acer presents a Windows-based opponent for Google's Chromebooks. The small laptop has enough power for basic office and Internet applications. The decoder integrated in the graphics core allows rendering diverse video formats. The...

Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11 review: A Windows 10 notebook for under $200… but it comes at a cost

There's been a resurgence of small, low-cost laptops in the past few years. The term “netbook” may have died around the turn of the decade, but low-cost Chromebooks continue to grow in popularity, and in recent years Acer, Asus, HP, and Lenovo have all...

The Acer Cloudbook 11 is a small, cheap laptop with a decent keyboard and touchpad, a matte display, and a fanless design. It boots pretty quickly and can run just about any app designed for Windows. You can use it to edit documents, watch videos, play...

Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 14

The netbook is back. No, seriously. I thought those hyper-cheap, low-powered laptops had been killed off by the rise of tablets, but there still appears to be a market for inexpensive laptops designed for web browsing and simple office tasks.

There are times when cutting costs simply doesn't pay off – the Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 14 is a prime example.

Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11 review

Using the cloud without a sky-high price

Very inexpensive ; Comes with Office 365 subscription ; Exterior has nice feel

Bad viewing angles ; Weak speakers ; Doesn't stand out against competition

Small, light, and inexpensive, the Acer Aspire Cloudbook has all the basic features to get by … but not much more than that.

Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11 review

  (Rating Hidden)

The Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11 is a miniature bargain-basement laptop. For the price, it's never going to be the most powerful performer on the shelves. But an easy-to-use design, titanic battery and attractive screen would still make it a laptop...

Review: Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 11 (AO1-131-C60S)

Budget computers should be just that — budget — and Acer's Aspire One Cloudbook 11 certainly ticks that box, but is it worthwhile buying for other reasons too?

Feels good in the hands; Matt screen; Decent battery life; Comes with one year subscription to Office 365;

Performance bugs; Less than 15GB of storage available out of the 32GB included; Unimpressive viewing angles; Keyboard has some design problems; Doesn’t charge from microUSB;
