Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Edition review

Acer's Aspire V15 is a technical achievement, but an aesthetic disappointment.

Acer Aspire V3-574G Notebook Review

Tight is not always right. Acer's new all-rounder catches the attention with its good connectivity, fast SSD, and an IPS screen. The battery life, however, is only average because Acer has slimmed down the battery significantly compared with that of...

Matte IPS screen, Decent application performance, Gaming suitable, Swift SSD, Good input devices

No maintenance cover, Middling battery life, Reduced screen brightness in battery mode

Acer's Aspire V3-574G has more than enough computing power for routine use, and renders computer games smoothly. The installed solid-state drive ensures a fast-running system. The laptop does not produce much noise during normal use and barely heats...

Acer Aspire V15: Attractive laptop for not a lot of money [Review]

At the very top of the Acer range are the Aspire V Nitro gaming laptops. Slotting in below those, the workaday Aspire V models deliver decent performance and smart design at a price that's more attractive to business and home users who want a fast...

The latest Aspire V15 model is slim, reasonably light and looks and feels well finished, the aluminium top panel in particular providing a classy touch. Its performance is easily good enough for everyday use like surfing the web and routine business...

Acer Aspire V3-574G-1ZI review

At under £600 the Acer Aspire V3-574G includes all the essentials to make a great everyday 15in laptop

For under £600 the Aspire V3-574G is easy to recommend. It's a commendable balance of virtues from the IPS screen, to the precise trackpad and highly regarded CPU. Nvidia graphics allow fluid gameplay up to 720p. The five-hour battery life, while half...

Review: Acer Aspire V15 (V3-574G) – Giving you gaming on a budget

When it comes to gaming laptops, you can pretty much spend as much as you like, and still not be satisfied. Then there are the extra tricks to play, the[...]

Three words describe this perfectly: gaming on a budget. This won’t blow you away, but the specs on offer are great for the price. If I really had to be picky, I’d be pointing some fingers at the extra software loaded on to this.

Review: Acer Aspire V15 (V3-574G-51BS)

Ultrabooks aren't for everyone, and if you feel you still need a big screen and an optical drive, Acer hopes it has something in the form of the Aspire V15. Is it right, or could you go better with something else?

Surprisingly comfortable keyboard; Optical drive included; 1TB of storage provided;

No touchscreen; Display has disastrous viewing angles; Only one level of backlighting offered; Aluminium lid, but an otherwise mediocre plastic build;

Review: Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition (591G)

As far as gaming laptops go, it seems like Alienware and Razer hold the market's attention, with HP getting in there recently, but Acer is attempting to grab it back, taking one of its Aspire machines and kitting it for games. Does it succeed, or would...

Numeric keyboard built-in; Gigabit Ethernet port; Great specs, though the hard drive is a conventional one; Excellent matt finish screen;

Very little gamer-focused lighting; Number-pad included; Despite being a good screen, it lacks touch, which is particularly surprising on a Windows 8 machine; Conventional hard drive, and a slow one at that; Sub-par battery for mobile gaming; Speakers...

Acer Aspire V3-574G-77X8 Review

Good materials and construction quality High-end specifications at a reasonable price Good overall performance

Not enough USB 3.0 ports Keyboard and trackpad could be improved

The specific version of the Acer Aspire V3 we tested is not available in India just yet. A variant with all specifications the same, except for a step down to 8GB of RAM, is priced at Rs. 71,999 (MRP). We expect the one we tested to be priced...

Acer Aspire V3-574G

Very fast laptop, capable of running even the most demanding software.

This laptop is NOT Windows 10 compatible! Sold as compatible, very deceiving. Makes the computer very very slow and apps are unusable. I repeat DO NOT install Windows 10 as it is a waste of time and effort
