Acer Nitro 5 AN515-44-R99Q Laptop Review

The Acer Nitro 5 is a cheap gaming laptop with plenty of power for AAA gaming.

Affordable ; AAA gaming-ready hardware ; Respectable battery life

Heavy and thick ; Muddy display ; Small keys and trackpad

You won’t find a cheaper gaming laptop with the Nitro 5’s raw performance, but other

Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-45) review: Ray tracing for the masses

A stupendously powerful gaming laptop for less than £1,000, the Acer Nitro 5 is a no-brainer

Amazing performance for the price ; Surprisingly quiet ; Abundant upgrade options

Poor sRGB coverage and colour accuracy ; Poor battery life ; Plastic chassis is a fingerprint magnet

The Nitro 5’s screen is a bit on the weak side and the battery life is verging on the dismal, but other than that it’s hard to fault the Nitro 5 when it offers such stunning performance at such a low price.

Acer Nitro 5 AN515-44 review: Solid performance at a reasonable price

The Nitro 5 delivers a decent wallop of performance, a 144Hz display and plenty of upgradability for not much cash

Good value ; Easily upgraded ; Numeric keypad

Drab display ; Feels plasticky ; Weak loudspeaker

ACER Nitro 5 15.6" Gaming Laptop - AMD Ryzen 5, GTX 1650, 256 GB SSD

Lightweight, easy to use, nice display and sound quality. Love the light up keyboard.I mostly use for online gaming and sims 4- runs both really well! Overall a great budget gaming laptop, im really happy with it.

Could be improved by having more internal storage, should be able to have more than 2 games installed at one time if its a gaming pc. Also not a fan of the charging port, takes effort to plug into pc sometimes. Also battery life, drains super fast.

ACER Nitro 5 15.6" Gaming Laptop - AMD Ryzen 5, GTX 1650, 256 GB SSD

Its sturdy and had a really nice design

The pc specs said it came with 240gb but atleast 110 gb were already used by pre installed soft ware so we put in an extra internal hard drive .. so that cost us an extra £100 to buy all the kit to do it.
