Apple MacBook Pro 16-Inch

With a larger display, a beefier graphics chip, and (vitally and finally!) an improved keyboard, Apple's 16-inch MacBook Pro is a beyond-capable big-screen powerhouse built for creatives.

Excellent Retina Display, now larger and with slimmer bezels. Revamped keyboard. Comfortable, XL-size touchpad. Superb audio quality. Powerful Intel Core i9 and AMD Radeon Pro 5500M. Long battery life. SSD storage options up to 8TB.

Lacks microSD slot, USB Type-A ports. As ever, no touch-screen option. Expensive as configured.

Bottom Line: With a larger display, a beefier graphics chip, and (vitally and finally!) an improved keyboard, Apple's 16-inch MacBook Pro is a beyond-capable big-screen powerhouse built for creatives.

Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch Review

With the latest iteration of its 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pro laptops, Apple finally jumped onto the Intel Core i3 and Core i5 bandwagon—bringing its flagship line of laptops up to the same performance level as the Windows-based competition (the...

Great overall performance ; Excellent battery life ; Elegant design ; Sturdy "unibody" design ; Multi-touch gesture trackpad ; Great Keyboard ; Robust iLife apps included

Expensive ; Battery is not removable ; Glossy screen susceptible to reflections ; Must purchase adapter cable for VGA, DVI, or HDMI out

Performance Summary: The MacBook Pro makes a very impressing performance showing whether it is running the Mac OS or Windows. Most consumer-level applications will run on it just fine. In terms of professional-level apps, that's going to depend on what...

Apple MacBook & Pro

Recently Apple introduced new versions of the MacBook and the MacBook Pro based on the Unibody design. Although a lot of noise was made about the “introduction” of the Unibody design on these new Macs, it was actually the MacBook Air that introduced...

In short, these new Macs are beautiful, fast and very functional. They’re certainly a worthy upgrade over the previous models especially with the new nVidia chipset. Would I recommend getting one? If you’re not a power-user then I certainly would. If...

15-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar review: the future is here although not everybody likes it

The new MacBook Pro is finally here. It's expensive, dependent on USB-C and has a fancy new touchscreen atop the keyboard. So should you buy one?

USB-C is an enabler ; Touch Bar has some very clever uses ; Touch ID is welcome

Not very latest-gen Intel chips ; 16GB a restriction for some ; Touch Bar is an expensive addition

Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch review

The MacBook Pro 16-inch is a winning combo of style and substance.

Very powerful ; Gorgeous screen ; Much improved keyboard

Expensive ; Lack of ports ; Not enough to win over Windows users

Apple has clearly listened to its customers, including many designers, and with the MacBook Pro 16-inch, it has produced a professional laptop that is ideal for digital creatives, while addressing the complaints that people had with previous models.

Apple MacBook Pro (16-inch) Review: More Than Just a New Keyboard

The 16-inch MacBook Pro has a big screen, improved keyboard and long battery life, but it's time to add some more ports.

Magic keyboard is great ; Best audio I’ve ever heard from a laptop ; Long battery life ; Strong performance

Pros need more ports and SD card slot ; 32-bit apps and games need replacements or fixing

The 16-inch MacBook Pro has the keyboard Mac users have been waiting for, along with amazing speakers and long battery life. But it’s time to add more ports for pros.
