Apple MacBook Air 11-Inch (2015)

The latest MacBook Air 11-inch is Apple's smallest and least expensive laptop, with good performance and more than 11 hours of battery power.

Priced under $900. Elegant design. More than 11 hours of battery life in testing.

Lacks HDMI and Ethernet ports. No SD card slot. Limited storage capacity. 1,366-by-768-resolution display. Only upgradable at time of order.

Conclusion The latest 11-inch Apple MacBook Air might be one of the smallest ultraportable laptops on the market, but its powerful Intel Core i5 processor and long-lasting battery life help it stay ahead of its Core-M-equipped rivals. It also offers...

Apple MacBook Air 11 (Early 2015) Notebook Review

Unchanged evergreen. Apple refreshes its MacBook Air-series with current Broadwell processors. This does improve the performance noticeably, but something is missing – innovation.

Very good system performance, Increased GPU performance, Battery runtime, Input devices, Build quality

Increased price, HD resolution, Port variety

The Apple MacBook Air is still some kind of evergreen in the notebook world, despite the lack of innovation. As expected, the new components inside the chassis are very convincing and the performance was increased compared to the predecessors. Although...

Review: The 2015 MacBook Air’s once-trailblazing design is showing its age

Its insides are more than competitive, but they're encased in 2010's design.

Internal specs are still top-of-the-line for this price, size, and weight class—PC OEMs aren’t going to give you this faster GPU, either ; High-quality construction ; We didn’t talk about it much, but this is doubly true of the 11-inch model. PC OEMs...

A design that stood out for its portability in 2010 is merely average in 2015

Review: The 2015 Broadwell refreshes are similar, but not identical.

Apple MacBook Air 2015 review (13-inch): is this a better choice than the smaller MacBook?

Though young at heart, the MacBook Air is beginning to show its age

Battery life ; Fast storage ; Ports

Display ; Dated design ; Speakers

The 2015 MacBook Air is unexciting and not as fashionable as it once was, but its excellent battery life, decent performance and good selection of ports make it worthy of your consideration for another year.

MacBook Air 11in (2015) review

Is this Air still fresh? Find out if we think the new MacBook Air 11in (2015) deserves its place in the Apple laptop lineup.

Still supremely portable ; Typical Mac useability ; Enough power for practically any everyday computing

Screen resolution now looks very low

The design is ageing and the screen is past-it, but it’s still portable royalty.

Review: Apple MacBook Air 11 inch (2015)

One of the few Macs we haven't reviewed in a while, it's time to check out Apple's baby of the bunch before what we expect will be a 2016 overhaul.

Beautifully built; Very light; Apple still produces one of the best keyboards around, even if this one is a little lighter than we normally like;

No ForceTouch mouse; Screen still needs work, and is the one part that definitely needs replacing; No SD card slot; No HDMI port;

Apple MacBook Air 2015 review: Only better with time

Earlier we reviewed the Apple MacBook, and although it was undeniably easy to take with us on the go, it was tougher to work on everyday. The Air variant is a little bigger, but it retains a strong set of connections and a keyboard soft enough on...
