This is my detailed review of the 2023 Asus ROG Strix G17 series, the mid-tier AMD-based Republic of Gamers laptop available as of 2023.

simple design and solid build quality ; good inputs and IO ; alright QHD 240 Hz screen, even if not very bright ; solid performance, and excellently balanced in all power profiles ; punchy audio ; more affordable than the Intel-based 2023 Strix G models

runs and players AAA games quick boot up

the microphone and speakers are the worst there's no WEBCAM - so that explains why the microphone doesn't work correctly its got one built in. the USB ports also, don't pick up some older USBS.
