Asus ROG Strix Hero II (GL504GM) Review

Strap in and enjoy the ride. Asus' $1,915 (starting at $1,699) ROG Strix Hero II is a gaming laptop that boasts some robust specs, including an 8th Gen Core i7 processor and GTX 1060 graphics. That means you'll have no problem playing the latest...

Asus ROG Strix GL504GM Hero II (i7-8750H, GTX 1060, FHD) Laptop Review

A hero for the masses. Excellent performance sustainability and a beautiful 144 Hz IPS display make the GL504 one of the more impressive 15-inch gaming notebooks in the market. A couple of missing features prevent the system from being a "must have"...

144 Hz narrow bezel display with minimal ghosting ; quieter and cooler than the GL504GS ; longer battery life than the GL504GS ; brighter backlight than the GL504GS ; dual internal storage bays ; great internal speakers ; easy serviceability

suboptimal webcam placement ; no per-key RGB lighting ; still loud when gaming ; no Thunderbolt 3

Asus ROG Strix GL504GM Hero Edition review

Asus' got a hero to take on anything

Well calibrated display ; 144Hz is the cherry on the top ; Design is much better than previous Gen ; MOBA gamers will love the keyboard

Right side thermal vent blows heat to your hands ; Chin-facing camera not ideal for live streams

The ROG bossing the mid-range gaming circle.
