Review Asus X54HR-SO060V Notebook

Money pinching. Asus primarily focuses on the price in the X54HR-SO060V. Great equipment or high performance isn't possible for just under EUR 480. Is the 15 inch multimedia notebook, equipped with AMD's newest Radeon HD 7470M, nevertheless a good...

Good application performance, Moderate temperatures, Compact power adapter, Matt surfaces, Attractive price, The lack of sensitive high-gloss surfaces

Limited equipment (only 1 RAM & 2 USB), Moderate sound quality, Poor screen rates, Low gaming performance, Poor battery life, Clattery keyboard, Quite lame HDD, A longer battery life and a better connectivity (more USB ports!)

Very good bang on your buck.

I have the newer model of the Asus x series that is equipped with the intel 5 series, 4 gb of ram and 800 mb Nvidia graphics card. The laptop was only $700 and it performs much better then my HP dv6 that I spent over a thousand dollars on. It runs very...

X54L A basic notebook for everything except gaming.

With the high Aussie dollar, this notebook can be bought in some stores for under $300 which makes it great value. At this price, pulling the 5,400 rpm hard drive and replacing it with a $100 Samsung 830 SSD was a no-brainer upgrade that converted the...

Low cost and good video editing capabilities for a low priced laptop.

4GB maximum memory on a 64 Bit laptop!

Terrible product.

I wouldn't advise getting one, i have had a few asus notebooks and this has to be the worst i have had, for a i3 with 10gb ram and a empty hdd it lags, is slow to load the keyboard feels terrible to use. stupid placement of power connecter, not enough...

Not a dustproof keyboard, not enough usb ports, power connecter is poorly placed, no access to cpu cooler for cleaning

Consumer review (productreview.com.au)

Good basic laptop, with some irritating features.

I like this laptop because it's reliable and hard wearing, while also being within a good price range. It loads quickly and shuts down without issues (usually). The battery life is very short and it is difficult to set up screen savers that may...

Inexpensive, reliable, hard wearing, great screen.

Short battery life (maximum 131 minutes), heavy, touch pad won't sleep (therefore screen savers won't work).
