HP Elite Dragonfly review: Traveling first-class

The new HP Elite Dragonfly, crafted from CNC-machined magnesium and weighing in at just 2.2 pounds, is one of the lightest commercial 2-in-1s ever designed.

Perfect size for traveling ; Lots of security features ; Incredible battery life ; Great port selection

Older processors ; Keyboard feels cramped

HP Elite Dragonfly (2020) review: recycled in the right ways

A business laptop with broad appeal.

Sure View Reflect screen ; Tile tracker works ; Exceptional keyboard ; 11-hour battery life

Expensive ; Screen is quite glossy in privacy mode ; Last-generation processors

But once I send this review unit back to HP, am I going to miss using it.

The HP Elite Dragonfly is too stylish for the boardroom

Business on the inside, party on the outside.

Light, durable chassis ; Lovely matte blue color that doesn’t collect fingerprints ; Quiet keyboard that’s very nice to type on ; Strong performance for productivity work ; Lots of configuration options

It really should have a 3:2 display ; Power button is in an awkward spot ; Sticker shock ; Some annoying system bugs ; Not available in all of the typical places you buy a laptop

The Dragonfly proves that corporate business machines don’t have to be boring and soulless. In fact, they can be more desirable than their consumer-focused counterparts. It even has a cool name, unlike the jumble of letters and numbers most laptops are...

HP Elite Dragonfly review

The HP Dragonfly isn't just a looker that will inspire jealousy from Apple users; it's also a long-lasting laptop that earns serious respect.

The HP Dragonfly's crisp, beautiful display; lightweight design; and robust security features combine to give you a laptop that's as nice to look at as it is to use. If only it didn't cost so much that I winced when I saw our testing unit's price. You...

HP Elite Dragonfly review: Luxurious, professional, expensive

This is a whole new look for the Elitebook line, and it starts at $1,549.

Attractive, unique design with MIL-spec durability.

16:9 display aspect ratio.

Regardless, the HP Elite Dragonfly is an impressively portable and powerful machine, but it's also pricey. Comparable

HP Elite Dragonfly review: a beautiful, compact laptop not just for business users

The HP Elite Dragonfly is lightweight, compact, stylish, powerful... it's hard to beat as a Windows laptop

Excellent looks ; Superb screen ; Long battery life

Average audio ; Trackpad could be better ; No discrete graphics

HP Elite Dragonfly review: Perfect for work and pleasure

The Elite Dragonfly by HP might be billed as a compact and powerful business laptop, but you might just want this for yourself at home!

Slim and sturdy design ; Battery life is great ; Speedy performance ; Lightweight and portable machine ; Great keyboard

Fingerprint sensor wasn't always quick to authenticate ; Trackpad takes getting used to ; Pretty expensive laptop

You don't need to have a boring black brick business laptop, you can have a svelte and attractive one that's also fast and capable. The HP Elite Dragonfly is the near-perfect marriage of those two worlds.

HP Elite Dragonfly review: Business class

It's impossible not to fall in love with the HP Elite Dragonfly but the high price means it narrowly misses out on an award

Ludicrously light and well-built ; Fast enough to be your main machine ; Great display and speakers

Expensive ; Lacks 10th gen Intel chips

Then again, this is a machine that makes a statement that a run-of-the-mill laptop never could. If that’s important to you, or you simply enjoy gazing at something beautiful, then the HP Elite Dragonfly is an excellent choice.
