If you're a businessperson who lives on Zoom and has a serious budget, then the HP Elite Dragonfly Max is for you.

Outstanding build quality ; Thin and light ; Excellent keyboard and touchpad ; Effective privacy screen ; A slew of valuable business features

HP Elite Dragonfly Max review: pretty fly for a steep buy

Luxury-class laptop for a luxury price.

Sure View Reflect screen ; 5MP webcam ; Beautiful design ; Robust port selection

Too expensive for actual humans to afford ; 16:9 aspect ratio ; Just average battery life

The new HP Elite Dragonfly Max has an upgraded webcam and a number of heavy-duty security features. All models include HP’s Sure View Reflect privacy screen.

HP Elite Dragonfly Max Review

Lively performance (except for gaming) ; Impressive battery life ; High-res webcam ; 5G mobile broadband ; Privacy screen stops snoops ; Sleek magnesium styling

Sky-high price ; No SD or microSD card slot ; Narrow viewing angles

HP's ultraportable Elite Dragonfly Max offers a tempting mix of 5G, a 5-megapixel webcam, and a security screen that thwarts nosy seatmates, but you'll pay an extra grand for the combo.

HP Elite Dragonfly Max review: Premium business convertible with a killer webcam

The HP Elite Dragonfly Max has a gorgeous design and a killer webcam, but you'll get better battery life from competing premium business convertibles.

Beautiful, rugged chassis ; Stellar display ; High-res webcam ; Excellent application performance ; Two Thunderbolt 4 ports

Display can feel cramped ; Middling multimedia performance ; Merely average battery life

The HP Elite Dragonfly Max boasts a beautiful, rugged enclosure and a host of thoughtful utilities that business execs are certain to enjoy. It also supplies a gorgeous (if small) display, surprisingly robust audio output, and a 1440p webcam that puts...

Sleek, durable chassis ; Packed with security features ; Extremely bright, vivid display ; Solid performance ; Great battery life

Doesn’t ship with a pen ; Expensive

The HP Elite Dragonfly offers incredible security features, solid performance and endurance in a seriously lightweight, durable shell.

HP EliteBook Dragonfly Max Convertible Review: Sure View Sounds Better Than It Looks

There's so much to like about the 13.3-inch Elite Dragonfly Max from its portable design to its 5G options and comfortable keyboard. However, Sure View hampers the visual experience significantly and it can't be ignored.

smaller than most other 13.3-inch convertibles;easy-to-service M.2 SSD and WAN;very accurate sRGB display colors;5 MP webcam w/ privacy shutter;comfortable keyboard keys;plenty of security features;very quiet fan noise;good audio quality;2x Thunderbolt...

Sure View severely degrades clarity for the primary user even when switched off;1000-nit brightness claim is closer to 700 nits;below average Tiger Lake-U performance;terrible viewing angles on portrait mode;webcam colors could be better

HP Elite Dragonfly Max review

The long-lasting HP Elite Dragonfly Max offers decent performance and some nice frills for business users, but the high price tag hurts.

Lightweight ; Whisper-quiet ; Impressive battery life ; Great webcam

Pricey ; Unimpressive performance ; Can get a bit hot under heavy loads

— it doesn't offer quite as much storage or as many business-minded features, but it does have a gorgeous AMOLED display and a much more reasonable price tag.

HP Elite Dragonfly Max Review: A Pricey 5G Follow-Up

We love the HP Elite Dragonfly, but the Max doesn't add a ton for it's tall price tag.

+ 5G option ; + Bright Display ; + Long Battery Life

- Middling Performance ; - Expensive even for a business-class PC

The HP Elite Dragonfly Max has a bright display and long battery life, but its performance could be stronger. And it's priced very high, even for a business-class laptop.
