The HP Elite Dragonfly is too stylish for the boardroom

Business on the inside, party on the outside.

Light, durable chassis ; Lovely matte blue color that doesn’t collect fingerprints ; Quiet keyboard that’s very nice to type on ; Strong performance for productivity work ; Lots of configuration options

It really should have a 3:2 display ; Power button is in an awkward spot ; Sticker shock ; Some annoying system bugs ; Not available in all of the typical places you buy a laptop

The Dragonfly proves that corporate business machines don’t have to be boring and soulless. In fact, they can be more desirable than their consumer-focused counterparts. It even has a cool name, unlike the jumble of letters and numbers most laptops are...

HP Elite Dragonfly review: Luxurious, professional, expensive

This is a whole new look for the Elitebook line, and it starts at $1,549.

Attractive, unique design with MIL-spec durability.

16:9 display aspect ratio.

Regardless, the HP Elite Dragonfly is an impressively portable and powerful machine, but it's also pricey. Comparable

HP Elite Dragonfly review: a beautiful, compact laptop not just for business users

The HP Elite Dragonfly is lightweight, compact, stylish, powerful... it's hard to beat as a Windows laptop

Excellent looks ; Superb screen ; Long battery life

Average audio ; Trackpad could be better ; No discrete graphics

HP Elite Dragonfly review: Perfect for work and pleasure

The Elite Dragonfly by HP might be billed as a compact and powerful business laptop, but you might just want this for yourself at home!

Slim and sturdy design ; Battery life is great ; Speedy performance ; Lightweight and portable machine ; Great keyboard

Fingerprint sensor wasn't always quick to authenticate ; Trackpad takes getting used to ; Pretty expensive laptop

You don't need to have a boring black brick business laptop, you can have a svelte and attractive one that's also fast and capable. The HP Elite Dragonfly is the near-perfect marriage of those two worlds.

HP Elite Dragonfly review: Business class

It's impossible not to fall in love with the HP Elite Dragonfly but the high price means it narrowly misses out on an award

Ludicrously light and well-built ; Fast enough to be your main machine ; Great display and speakers

Expensive ; Lacks 10th gen Intel chips

Then again, this is a machine that makes a statement that a run-of-the-mill laptop never could. If that’s important to you, or you simply enjoy gazing at something beautiful, then the HP Elite Dragonfly is an excellent choice.

HP Elite Dragonfly

The HP Elite Dragonfly professional laptop aims to be a complete work tool for day-to-day employees. Lightweight, versatile and speedy, but rather expensive

HP Elite Dragonfly Review: the Anti-ThinkPad

A business laptop you'll want to use everywhere

Attractive, solid, lightweight design ; Excellent battery life ; Pleasingly tactile keyboard ; Thunderbolt 3, plus full-sized USB-A & HDMI

CPU options stuck at 8th Gen (no newer 15W vPro options are available) ; Function row keys are tiny

With exceptional battery life, a comfortable keyboard, a good mix of ports, plus aesthetics that rival the best consumer notebooks, HP’s latest premium convertible outclasses the competition, making it the new business portable to beat.
