HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2

Despite its flashy exterior, the HP EliteBook x360 2-in-1 laptop is all business inside, with an Intel Core i7 processor, 14-hour battery life, and a comprehensive set of security features.

Long battery life. Intel Core i7 power. Compact, convertible form factor. Premium construction and design. USB-C with Thunderbolt 3 port and USB 3.0 ports. Windows Hello works with fingerprint reader and IR webcam.

512GB SSD and 16GB of RAM make it somewhat pricey. Lacks on-board storage for Active Pen.

The HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2 offers a flashy exterior that distinguishes it from its more sedate-looking competitors, like the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 and the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga. Its full feature set also sets it apart. True, it's almost $500 more...

HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2 (Core i5, Full HD) Convertible Review

A true favorite! HP's EliteBook series stands for high-end business laptops. In this review, you will find out if HP can follow up on their promises with this EliteBook x360 1030 G2.

fancy design ; flawless workmanship ; very good input devices ; good system performance ; no CPU throttling ; high flexibility due to 360-degree hinges ; low energy consumption ; very long battery life ; pleasantly quiet (often completely silent) ;...

low display brightness ; no NVMe SSD ; 256 GB SSD ; hardly any possibilities for expansion

The HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2 is more than a classic business notebook. Due to the 360-degree hinges, this device is extremely flexible and the HP Active Pen enables creativity to run free. The many multimedia functions are another great feature of our...

Elitebook x360 1030 G2 review: A business laptop with the lot

It has been a long time since an HP business device made me sit up and take notice, but the latest Elitebook x360 has changed that.

Wide range of usage modes ; Variety of input choices ; Top design and build quality ; Full size ports

Resolution on standard display could be higher ; Not the lightest laptop ; USB-C power is not a universal wonderland yet

HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2 Review and Ratings

A superior rotating 2-in-1 for business, the x360 emphasizes collaboration features, battery life, pen input, and max mobility in a classy 13.3-inch machine you'll be proud to carry.

Business-calling-specific keys, audio features ; Superlight design ; Full-size ports ; Long battery life, plus quick-charge function ; Robust performance, in our maxed-out test configuration

Keyboard feels decent and clicky, but slightly shallow ; Tinny, low-impact audio for anything but speech

What's not to like in the EliteBook x360? We're jazzed about most aspects of this laptop, and we suspect you'll be even more so if you use your system as the hub of your business communications, not just as your computer. The audio functions, Skyping...

HP Elitebook x360 review: A work laptop you’ll like using at home

No matter where you're working, HP's newest business notebook has your back.

Slim, professional design. ; Comfortable keyboard with Skype conference shortcut buttons. ; IR camera and fingerprint sensor for Windows Hello. ; HP WorkWise keeps an eye on your laptop when you're not around. ; Good battery life.

Pen requires a AAAA battery. ; Price quickly increases depending on how many HP extra features you want.

After using the Elitebook x360 as my main work laptop for a few days, I can say I would gladly continue to use it. Its design is a good combination of sleek looks and utilitarian features. It can hold its own next to the Dell XPSs and the MacBooks...

HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2 review

An elegant solution for business computing on the move

Excellent value for money ; Superb performance and battery life ; Attractive optional features

SATA SSD ; Proprietary power port

The EliteBook x360 is an excellent workhorse 2-in-1 which is strong in a lot of respects. There are a couple of pain points, but none bad enough to distract us from the sheer quality of this HP laptop.

HP EliteBook x360 review

A review of the EliteBook x360 1030 G2, a business laptop that oozes style but has the security features that businesses need. It doesn't come cheap, though.

Parts of the HP EliteBook X360 1030 G2 can’t match those of consumer laptops around the price. The screen isn't super-bright and you’ll find higher-resolution panels too.

HP EliteBook x360 review: A casually cool business hybrid

HP adds a 360-degree hinge to its slim EliteBook biz laptop.

Solid construction and powerful components inside being a relatively slim and light body. Includes useful ports missing from many similar systems. Fantastic battery life.

Audio is tuned for conference calls, but poor for music and movies. The remote management app was hard to set up and lost its connection. It's a professional laptop, so you're paying pro-level prices.

HP's EliteBook x360 is a pricey professional hybrid that has crossover appeal for anyone looking for useful features and a great design.

HP Elitebook X360 1030 G2 review

Power, versatility and panache - this hybrid is a serious enterprise contender

Excellent performance; stylish design and appearance; Full complement of ports

Underwhelming screen; Slightly chunky compared to other convertibles

Despite being let down by a somewhat disappointing screen, the HP Elitebook X360 is a phenomenal business-class hybrid. It's got plenty of power, a plethora of ports and a sharp, elegant aesthetic to ensure that you'll stand out at your next client...
