Review HP ProBook 430-G1 Notebook

Unrivaled. A cheap business entry level laptop in a 13-inch format and the latest ULV processor, the Intel Core i5-4200U, from HP. This slim model weighs a mere 1.6 kg and wants to be recognized as a serious mobile companion.

Luxurious surfaces, HSPA+ card, Matte display, Low power consumption, The mobile broadband card provided as standard

Uneven gaps, Poor positioning of the ports, Weak WLAN reception, Annoying viewing angles, Disturbing cooling fan behavior, A better keyboard

Great Deal

So I would definately recommend this laptop. Especially because it's a good deal for a Haswell Core i5 with Hyperthreading.

After putting in my SSD and installing all my programs I finally had some time today to use the HP probook 430 laptop and see how it performs. And so far it has been great. It plays HD movies without breaking a sweat. And it barely makes any noise....

The only con was all the HP software that I didn't really need. So it took a while to uninstall many of the useless programs

Well I finished changing out the hard drive (for a SSD) and installing all my programs yesterday. So today I finally got to use it and see how it performs in my everyday tasks. And so far I'm glad to report it is fast and seems pretty powerful. Had no...

The only con that I can think of is that the sound is not as good as my last laptop from the headphone out. It's close but definately not as detailed. I listen to music all the time so I noticed it right away. Maybe with some break-in it will improve....

HP ProBook 430-G1

To begin with, Probook 430-G1 is not an everyday use personal laptop . It is a laptop bought by companies at cheapest rates possible and that shows in the way the product delivers. The 430-G1 has more Cons and Pros. This is my 6th official Laptop(3 of...
