Solid build quality ; Great performance ; Decent battery life for 4K display ; Plenty of ports ; Camera privacy shutter ; Built-on Tile Tracker, HP Wolf Security on board ; Fast charge battery ; Plenty of ports

Power button is a key sandwiched between delete and print screen ; 720p HD camera (not FHD) ; Pricey

Even though it is pricey, you do get the performance that you pay for. On that note, the HP ZBook Power G9 makes a solid choice if your workflow requires extra power and performance — especially if you work on the go, or split your work between home...

HP ZBook Power G9 review: Workstation power on a budget

When it comes to getting serious work done, the HP ZBook Power lets you add lots of workstation grade components into a mobile formfactor.

Excellent performance ; Great keyboard with a number pad ; Lots of peripheral ports on the sides ; NVIDIA graphics processor ; Lots of configuration options ; Tamper protection

Thick and a bit heavy at about 4.2 lbs ; No HP DreamColor display option ; No SD card slot ; Can get pretty warm under heavy load ; Audio & speakers aren't as good as more-expensive models
