Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3 Chromebook Review

Excellent build quality ; Unusual almond-colored exterior ; SD card reader ; USB-C charging ; Affordable

Lackluster 11-inch screen

Lenovo's IdeaPad Flex 3 Chromebook proves that as long as you're willing to overlook a small, dim display, you can have an otherwise excellent 2-in-1 convertible Chromebook for less than $350.

Intel Graphics Math Error

Once I got past the initial issue of Intel Graphics Math Error by updating the video driver to the latest ... provided by Lenovo's website, I really enjoy this laptop.

I don't have this exact model but had the same error when I first powered it on my Flex 3 2-in-1 and tested it. Amazing what searching the internet can do to help resolve this issue. Even Lenovo's website directs you to the answer. *** UPDATE the video...

Intel Graphics Math Error ... it does kind of stink that this is an immediate issue right out of the box. Not a good way to start with a brand new laptop.

This thing is fast - Beat any Android/Apple tablet

Fast, quality feeling, heavy duty hinges, really impressive machine so far. I'm waiting for a external cd/BD player to reinstall my software but so far, Internet is blazing fast. Love this little beast.

Still have a problem with the sleep function: It won't restart. Found no patches do correct it.. Levono seem to be far from the best when after sale service is required.

Terrible purchase

I bought this almost two months ago. It worked great at first then all of a sudden stopped locating Wi-Fi anywhere. I configured the Intel device to fix it. It worked for one day and then stopped again.

Not Good

Would have been better throwing this money into the trash. At least I wouldn't feel so cheated while I work from my old XP laptop with bad pixels because it runs so much better. I have used several Lenova products without issue, I like their desktop...

Flip screen "Convertible" concept is a good idea if executed effectively. The touch pad actually has a push to click which I find much better than double taping.

Extremely slow, horribly slow, even after a one touch restore with no other programs. Takes forever to boot. Intel Graphics Math Error, resolving this with Lenova is like trying to get through an episode of Zelda without the accompanying entertainment...

Flex is the right word

Flex is the best word to describe this laptop/tablet. So far all is good with speed, and picture quality. The features are great from presentation mode to tablet mode to laptop.
