Lenovo Yoga 730 (13-Inch)

The Lenovo Yoga 730 convertible laptop is a small but worthy iteration on its already-excellent predecessor, with better computing performance and a subtle redesign.

Thin and light. Comfortable keyboard and touchpad. Two Thunderbolt ports. Quick charging. Good everyday computing performance.

Slightly bulky in Tablet mode. Screen bounces in Laptop mode. No SD card slot.

Bottom Line: The Lenovo Yoga 730 convertible laptop is a small but worthy iteration on its already-excellent predecessor, with better computing performance and a subtle redesign.

Got $1,000 for a 13-inch 2-in-1? Get the Yoga 730

A new processor and a few other additions make this a solid update to last year's quality 13.3-inch Yoga 720.

The thinner, lighter 13.3-inch Lenovo Yoga 730 two-in-one improves on last year's model with faster 8th-gen Intel Core i-series processors; dual Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports; far-field mics; a quick-charge feature; and -- eventually -- support for Amazon...

Battery life is good, but not great for the category and is the only area where performance is not better than its predecessor in our tests. USB type-C adapters are needed for Ethernet or HDMI output, and there's no SD card slot.

The 13.3-inch Lenovo Yoga 730 doesn't change much from last year, but what Lenovo added definitely improves the package to keep it one of the best thin-and-light two-in-ones you can buy.

Lenovo Yoga 730 (13-inch) Review

The Yoga 730 has strong performance, but its screen is odd, its keyboard is shallow, and it doesn't last as long as we'd like.

Good build quality; Strong performance

Oversaturated screen; Shallow keyboard; Below-average battery life

Lenovo Yoga 730-13IKB (i7-8550U, 4K) Convertible Review

Ambitious middle-class Yoga. Good quality at a low price - impossible? Lenovo attempts to fulfill this promise by releasing a middle-class convertible laptop playing in the upper league. You can read in this detailed review if this concept adds up.

Premium metal case ; Hassle-free upgrade of SSD ; 4K display with good color gamut & high contrast ratio ; Comfortable trackpad ; Included digitizer pen ; Better CPU performance than the predecessor

Limited connectivity ; Keyboard pressure point too soft ; No option for a brighter, outdoor-suitable display ; Speakers unsatisfactory ; Poor battery life ; CPU throttled during battery operation

The Lenovo Yoga 730-13IKB is an interesting update of its predecessor. In some respects, the quality reaches that of the more expensive convertibles. In other cases, however, it is inferior. Especially cheaper configurations of the Lenovo Yoga...

Lenovo Yoga 730 (13″) review – elegant mobile assistant

Lenovo has a great impact on basically every laptop market. One of the most prominent members of the brand is the Yoga line-up. Recently we've shared our thoughts on the Yoga C930 which can b…

Good build quality;Light and portable with thin screen bezels;Great touchscreen with complimentary Lenovo Pen;Vibrant screen;Good performance; Two USB-C Thunderbolt 3 connectors;Blazingly fast NVMe SSD (region dependent)

The display (BOE NV133FHM-N61) uses aggressive PWM (fixable by our Health-Guard profile);Poor upgradability

Lenovo Yoga 730 Review: For the Basic

Lenovo's latest entry in the Yoga 700 series is for the average Joe, but that's a good thing.

Lenovo Yoga 730 (13-inch) initial review: Trim bezel bolsters this sterling laptop

How to improve upon one of last year's best laptops? Trim the bezel, but of course. That's exactly what Lenovo has done in the Yoga 730.
