Medion Akoya S3409 review: A lot of power in a compact chassis

 

Battery life isn't brilliant, but everything else about this 13.3in ultraportable screams excellent value

Light ; Great keyboard ; Excellent performance

Surprisingly noisy ; Tinny sound ; Unimpressive battery life

Live with the mediocre battery life and a few rough edges, and you get a lot of power in a very compact chassis at a cut-down price.

Well made alround

 

This Medion Ultrabook has a finish is up there with other premium, high-end Windows laptops. And there's no flex on the keyboard or the display and a decent keyboard action. The trackpad has a click mechanism action (never seen that on a laptop before)...

Works great. Backlit keyboard light. Buttons have great touch and sensitivity. Overall a great computer.

Screen quality; speed; back-lit keyboard; touch-pad is ok despite seeing some critical reviews on this feature; virtually everything is good about this laptop.

Keyboard layout (I keep hitting the PgUp/Dn and End buttons with my little finger when typing); Laptop is quite small so ensure what the purposes of buying it are before committing
