Microsoft Surface Pro 6 review

The best one yet, but only just

Quad-core processing ; Long battery life ; Excellent new color option

Still no USB-C ; Dated USB 3.0 port ; Few meaningful improvements

Microsoft’s Surface Pro 6 is faster, longer lasting and now comes in a sleek, new black shell and … that’s about it. This is no doubt a better device than last year, but it might not be the generational leap some were hoping for. If you already own a...

Review: Microsoft Surface Pro

The latest Surface Pro adds better processors and graphics, so is it a useful machine for creatives?

New hinge – Studio Mode – great for sketching ; Pen is ace (but costs extra) ; Brilliant screen

Surface Pen costs extra ; Surface Type cover costs extra ; With Type Cover it's difficult to work on your lap

Microsoft's Surface Pro looks great, is fast and has an excellent screen. For the top-end model it’s expensive, though.

Microsoft Surface Pro Review

If you're after a tablet for some serious work, and have plenty of money to spend, the Surface Pro will make a great choice. But if you really want a device that can be popped into a bag and used for games, browsing reading and so on, there are better...

Great power; perfect for working on the move; Touch Cover keyboard is impressive.

Seriously weighty; battery life is disappointing; limited choice of apps.

best of both worlds, thank you Redmond

best of both worlds, the surface pro close the gap between a tablet and a computer, you can use it to read the news, listen to your favorite tune, watch videos in one of the best screens or be serious and get things dome from work and well as full...

great screen, best keyboard, apps/full programs choice, boot up is super fast, size, casing feels well made, screen definition is great.

windows should have come up with it a couple of years ago, other than that no cons.

"Excellent tablet, average laptop - all in one!"

I'm an IT professional w/ 15 years of experience under my belt. I've seen hardware come and go. Everything was promised to be a revolution. In general, the trend line has been towards immense progress. Many bad technologies have been cast aside for one...

-Light, portable, great form factor

-Hard to use as a laptop on a lap, the stand isn't sturdy enough to balance on knees. In other words, this device isn't comfortable to use on its own on a couch, you'll need a surface for your Surface.

Ditched my iPad for this truly amazing device

Let me just say I am an avid Apple fan, owning every Apple product from iMac, Macbook Pro, Macbook Air, 1st through 3rd generation iPad and every iPhone to date and Apple TV from 1st generation. I though Apple could do no wrong and loved everything...

Easy to use and more functionality than any other tablet on the market.

Price is a bit high and battery could be better.
