The GF65 Thin might be entry-level but MSI put the money where it counts.

Okay, everybody, today we have the return of the dragon. Or… the thin and light dragon… or the fashion dragon. Who cares. We are talking about the MSI GF65 Thin 10Sx, that is now outfit…

Thin and light chassis; Two M.2 NVMe slots and up to 64GB of dual-channel memory;Lack of PWM-adjusted brightness (AUO B156HAN13.0);Good price

Lacks an SD card slot and Thunderbolt 3 support;Uncomfortable input devices;Underdesigned cooling solution;Covers only 50% of sRGB (AUO B156HAN13.0);Slow pixel response times, despite the 120Hz refresh rate (AUO B156HAN13.0)

MSI GF65 Thin review: portable gaming power on a budget

The MSI GF65 Thin offers a very good value for money proposition

Lots of graphics power ; Affordable price ; Simple configuration tool

Not much RAM ; Limited lighting options ; Rather plain design

The MSI GF65 Thin brings with it two key selling points: an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU and one of the lowest prices for a gaming laptop you'll find right now. It has its weaknesses, but that price and power combination makes it worthy of consideration.

- performance was fantastic -msi dragon center was tailor-made for gaming and watching movies - does not overheat

- the fan was just a bit noisy - slightly heavier than a normal laptop (1.86kg)

MSI GF65 Thin 15.6” Gaming Laptop - Intel® Core™ i7, RTX 2060, 256 GB SSD

RTX 2060 120 HZ Display i7 6 core 12 thread CPU Upgradable for more ram and storage

Comes with only 8GB of ram and only 256GB of storage Gets very hot during gameplay even with fans on full speed (CPU up to 98C) so I recommend downloading Throttle stop to under-volt the CPU and keep temps much lower (65 - 75C). Tutorials on YouTube....
