MSI GP66 Leopard review: substance over style

The RTX 3070 delivers.

Nice professional look ; Powerful gaming performance for the price ; Per-key RGB keyboard ; Color-accurate 240Hz display

Skiddish touchpad ; Sometimes audible coil whine ; Dim screen ; Meh battery life (and bloatware doesn’t help)

The MSI GP66 Leopard is a midrange gaming laptop powered by Nvidia’s new GeForce RTX 3070 mobile graphics card and Intel’s eight-core Core i7-10870H. It delivers excellent gaming performancing without too many compromises for its price.

I don't normally go for chunky gaming laptops, but MSI has won me over with its new design and incredible performance.

Chassis and thermal design, performance, 240 Hz display
