The MSI GS66 Stealth is a powerful gaming laptop that puts forward the best design seen yet from the company. Speaking of design, it’s going straight after Razer’s Blade, and while it comes close, it whiffs on a few big details.

Sturdy but portable metal build ; 10th-Gen “Comet Lake-H” CPU and RTX 2080 Super (Max-Q) GPU lead to very high frame rates ; Blistering 300Hz display ; Plenty of ports, including Ethernet and Thunderbolt 3

Outperformed by a competing RTX 2070 Super (Max-Q) rig ; Redesigned look and shape doesn't stand out from the pack ; 512GB of storage is small for gaming, especially at this price

The MSI GS66 Stealth is a well-built and potent high-end gaming laptop, but it has a few shortcomings (especially considering the price of our review configuration) and loses some of the identity of its predecessor.
