Razer Blade 15 (2020) review: 300Hz for the win

The Razer Blade has inspired hordes of imitators. The 2020 model adds better performance and slight design tweaks, but does it still stand out from the pack?

Sleek design ; Comfortable keyboard and touchpad ; Exceptional gaming experience ; 300Hz refresh rate ; Ideal port selection

Runs hot ; Very expensive

Razer’s Blade 15 Advanced review: runs fast, runs hot

Razer's 2020 Blade 15 Advanced has better battery life and an improved keyboard, but it can get toasty

Refined keyboard layout ; Improved battery life ; Customizable RAM and SSD ; Synapse software is easy to use

It gets noticeably hot ; Poor webcam quality

Razer’s Blade 15 Advanced for 2020 makes some improvements to the battery life, keyboard layout, and specs over the last iteration. It’s a better all-around gaming laptop, though it does have some cooling issues.

Razer Blade 15 Advanced Edition (2020) Review

Best-in-class metal build ; GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q can play AAA games at 60fps-plus ; Can leverage 300Hz display in less-demanding competitive games ; Performance modes add real frame-rate gains ; 1TB SSD as configured ; Solid battery life for a...

Pricey as configured, even versus high-end competitors ; A smidge heftier than its competitive set ; Fans get quite loud on optional boosted performance mode

The 2020 Razer Blade 15 Advanced Edition combines some of the most powerful laptop components available with a slick all-metal design that stands above the rest, though the top configurations are very pricey.

Razer Blade 15 Advanced review (mid-2021 models, RTX 3080 and 3060, QHD 240Hz)

Now that I'm done reviewing the Razer Blade 14, it's a warm welcome to come back to the Razer Blade 15. I really did like Razer's new AMD 14” model a

same trusted build quality and design ; excellent trackpad ; great screen options ; thinner chassis than before ; updated hardware and lots of Synapse options to tailor the performance ; Advanced Optimus that actualyl works well

chassis gets hot under load ; still smudges, despite the new coating ; 240Hz screen models may suffer screen flickering due to Wifi interference ; expensive

Razer Blade 15 Advanced review

The Razer Blade 15 Advanced combines a thin, lightweight design with great game performance. Just be prepared to dish out a whole lot of money.

Sleek, lightweight design ; Great gaming performance ; Lots of ports ; Easy to control with Synapse

Lackluster touchpad and keyboard ; Convoluted screen options

In terms of competitors, the Alienware m15 R4 costs roughly the same amount of money, and offers similar functionality. I don’t have a strong preference between the two, although the Razer Blade 15 Advanced is a little bit lighter, a little bit smaller...

The Razer Blade 15 Advanced Is the Definition of a Premium Gaming Laptop

It ain't cheap, but if you like good design and attention to detail, the Razer Blade 15 is a great high-end gaming machine.

Great build quality, wide range of display options, good port selection

Razer Blade 15 Advanced Edition 2020

If you want the crème de la crème of gaming laptops, the Razer Blade 15 Advanced is the laptop to get. Its power and build quality are like none other

Extremely powerful ; Gorgeous 4K Touch screen ; Supreme build quality

Expensive ; Razer software is hard to navigate ; Hard to tell how the GPU will stack up with the next generation due this year

However, if you don’t need the best thing on the market, and you just need something great, there are so many excellent options out there for $2,500 or less. The

Razer Blade 15 Advanced Review (i7-10875H/2080 Super Max-Q)

Maintaining the elegant and premium unibody aluminium chassis synonymous with Razer's Blade models,

Stunning 4K60 OLED touch display.

No secondary M.2 SSD slot.

A stunning and stunningly powerful laptop that would certainly be at position one or position two in my list of go-to high-end mobile powerhouses.
