Samsung's N120 and N310 netbooks get reviewed, embraced

In the mood for a netbook, are we? We've recently been hepped to reviews of two of Sammy's latest, and thought you might wanna take a look. The 10.1-inch, 2.8-pound N120 "isn't the smallest or lightest," according to Liliputing, but it is thin, ...

N120

Samsung is continuing its run at the netbook market with incremental tweaks to design and function, and that's where the N120, blood brother of the Samsung N110, comes in. You won't find anything revolutionary here, just some nice extras that give you...

Larger keys than the N110 Great software bundle

Added audio doesn't offer much punch

Like the N110, the N120 comes with an excellent suite of software that features backup, restore, and network software that's easier to use than XP's interface. A clearly written, organized, and detailed user guide, also loaded onto the hard drive,...

Samsung N120 Laptop Review

Larger keys than the N110 ; Great software bundle

added audio doesn't add much punch

This is a good alternative to Samsung's N110 if you're willing to trade battery power for bigger keys and better performance.

Samsung N120 review: Samsung N120

Samsung N120

Giant keyboard (for a Netbook) and 2.1 speaker system.

More expensive than most Netbooks.

Part of Samsung's second generation of Netbooks, the N120 offers a generous keyboard and some unexpected audio power.

Samsung N120 (12GBK)

A full-size keyboard and phenomenal battery life are the Samsung N120's biggest strengths.

Full-size keyboard. Phenomenal 8 hours of battery life. Two of the three USB ports are chargeable. Powerful speakers for a netbook. RAM is easy to upgrade. Lightweight despite a big battery.

Pricier than its rivals. Looks are bland.

Review Samsung N120 White Netbook

The white one. Samsung had gone on the netbook stage late with it

Good manufacturing quality; Long battery life; Quiet; Adequate sound; Good input devices; Resistant and easy to care surface

Reflective display with low contrast values and uneven illumination; Display lid has little twisting resistance; Unfavorable placement of USB and audio ports; Base's temperature development

is strong and is found in-house with the NC10, among others. But also the Asus Eee PC 1000 HE , Dell Inspiron Mini 10 or MSI Wind U115 are tough rivals.

Samsung N120 Review

The Samsung N120 is the company's latest entry into the 10-inch netbook market. The N120 has typical netbook specifications but sets itself apart with an eye-catching design, light weight, and long battery life. Read on for our take

Attractive design ; High quality construction ; Nice screen ; Great keyboard and touchpad ; Excellent battery life (over eight hours) ; Light (2.8 pounds) ; Nearly silent operation ; Built-in Bluetooth

Weak speakers (normally not a con but the N120 is marketed to have better sound and it fails to impress) ; Odd keyboard layout choices ; No ExpressCard slot

Again, there are not a whole lot of ports but on a machine like this, the selection should suffice. Note the lack of an ExpressCard slot; adding a mobile broadband card will need to be done via USB. One of the N120s other connection options that...

Samsung N120

Samsung's netbook is an excellent entry into the Australian market, and an incredibly tempting buy for anyone looking in this space.

Clean design, Full sized keyboard, Better than usual speakers

802.11n and gigabit Ethernet would have set it apart in the specs department, Flipped Windows/right-click keys

Samsung N120 10.1 inch netbook review - Liliputing

At first glance, the Samsung N120 looks like a cross between the Samsung NC20 and N110 laptops. Like the N110, the Samsung N120 has a 10 inch display and a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU.

The Samsung N120 isn’t the smallest or lightest netbook on the market. And it doesn’t have the loudest speakers. But it is thin, light, and has some of the best
