Samsung N130 Netbook Review

In the world we live in, portability is becoming more and more one of the top decision-making factors on how we purchase electronics. The biggest and baddest hardware you have was once a thing to show off, however, now portability is taking the cake....

Excellent battery life over five hours ; Decent price to performance ratio ; Inexpensive at under $300

No integrated bluetooth

I have been using the Samsung N130 for some time now and, while having an aging Atom processor, it still is powerful enough for my every-day usage. I have actually replaced my larger laptop with this netbook when I travel about. The only issues I have...

Samsung N130-13B 10.1-Inch Slate Blue Netbook Review

The Samsung is an unusually solid netbook with good performance and doesn't look like a cheap kids toy. I've seen quite a few positive comments on this model and it offers a good mix of styling and performance. As with all netbooks it won't blow other...

I'm not drooling over netbooks as I once was, but I think this one would be high up on my list if I was planning on getting one. It hits does well where it needs to and looks good to boot. The $300 price is pretty tough to beat.

Samsung N130 review

Can this 10.1" netbook swim in an already drowning netbook market?

Cheap ; Good battery life ; Portability ; Nice build

Screen isn't very bright ; Protruding battery

A refreshing offering to the netbook gods, this machine avoids the extensive feature count for a simple approach to highly portable computing

Samsung N130 netbook review

We take a look at one of Samsung's latest attempts to break the netbook market, the N130.

Although an average netbook in all the specs, the Samsung N130 is enjoyable and comfortable to use and proves to be a sturdy reliable machine you can take out when you are on the move.

The OG of NETBOOKS

I don't know if it was me or what, but if you don't get some kind of anti-virus set up before you log on to the internet you may get a virus very quickly. Altogether this netbook is very compact and slick looking and I am very happy with my purchase....

Nice and compact ; Nice keyboard size ; Pretty fast (not fastest out there) ; Good long battery life ; Last about 6 hours

Speaker sucks ; Gets a little hot

Clean little package

Get the extra RAM. I got the Corsair RAM (N82E16820145172) which worked perfectly.

Small, great battery life, Wireless N, decent size HDD, card reader. Came with the normal excess software - but after an uninstall everything was much cleaner. Bought this for my wife for Xmas for e-mail/web surfing and she absolutely loves it. Easy...

The only complaint about this is that the touchpad has one button - you left click by pressing the left side of the button, right click by pressing the right side of the button. I'd prefer two separate buttons. The buttons are very sensitive - my wife...

Nice try, Samsung

You were SOOO close Samsung. The fact that I have to reinstall the sound driver at least once a week doesn't keep me looking at you as a Tier 1 brand.

Comfortable keyboard, decent-sized touchpad, partition size choice,3 usb ports, matte finish, SD memory card slot a nice little extra. Overall very pleasant aesthetic impression

Not even Winamp Lite works with this computer. Audio-related hardware keeps failing; have to keep re-installing audio drivers. For audio files only Windows Media Player works. Rockerbar for mouse button use

Not Bad

I formated and installed windows 7. It runs it just fine. But dont try to multi-task it will slow down. If you need something to just type documents or surf the web its okay. I was supriced to see a 128 mb video card in this. Not saying you can play...

Its Very light weight ; It has a great display screen

Can not upgrade memory. <-- Reason for the 3 eggs
