Review Samsung Q330 Suri Subnotebook

Glare office. Samsung bestows its 13.3 incher with the perfect display brightness. Find out why the subnotebook has to stay at home despite its good battery life. It can't be because of the noise because it always works at a low level.

Very bright TFT, Application performance, Quiet & cool (Silent Mode), DVD drive, Superficial aluminum looks, Fingerprint repellent, Good battery life, Nvidia Optimus, The haptic grip together with an almost always cool work surface. The well-known...

TFT not AR coated, Tight viewing angles, Low contrast, Few inerfaces, Partly lacks torsional stiffness, Leave out the graphics card (incl. Optimus), give the display an AR coat and reduce the price by 100 euros

Samsung Q330-JS03AU notebook

A 13.3in Samsung notebook that offer great portability at an affordable price

Stylish, good size for travellers, built-in optical drive, good performance, big hard drive

NVIDIA graphics card doesn't provide much of a performance boost, SD card slot awkwardly located at the front, touchpad not centred under space bar

We love the style and size of the Samsung Q330 and think it's a great notebook for travellers. Its performance is good and it has a useful set of features, but it also has two graphics adapters that provide similar performance to each other. We'd...

Samsung Q330

Samsung produces yet another excellent and affordable 13.3-inch laptop.

Durable ; Stylish ; Cheap ; Excellent battery life

Annoying touchpad positioning ; Glossy touchpad buttons ; Poor screen viewing angles

Aside from the silly touchpad placement, it's difficult to fault the Q330. It's durable, looks good, performs well and has very good battery life: all the things you need in a genuinely mobile laptop. Best of all, however, is the price. At £600 it's an...

Samsung Q330 review

A stunningly well made and powerful ultraportable at a great price

Solid, premium chassis ; Portable build ; Strong usability ; Excellent performance for the price ; Crisp and vibrant display

Battery life is fair, but not a match for some other modern ultra-portables ; Glossy screen is highly reflective ; Limited integrated graphics

Samsung Q330

Recent Samsung laptops have been stylish affairs, notable as much for their glossy red casing and matching keyboard and trackpad as for their computing capabilities. Overall, this is a highly enjoyable laptop to use - the keys are comfortable,...

Subtle looks and good performance from a well-priced laptop

Average graphics capabilities

Overall, this is a highly enjoyable laptop to use - the keys are comfortable, responsive and work well for fast typing. The styling, though not as standout as recent Samsung models, is designed to match the Jet mobile phone. The graphics card isn't...

Samsung Series 5 Ultra 13.3-inch

Matte screen. Good connectivity. Good touch pad and keyboard. Easy accessibility to upgrade.

Heat management could be better. Battery life is outdone by the competition. Backlit keyboard is sorely missed.

It might not have the backlit keyboard or the ultra-long battery life of some of its competitors, but the Samsung Series 5 Ultra is a pleasing laptop all the same.

Samsung Q330 review

A big name 2kg laptop that costs less than £500 ex VAT? Surely there's a catch? Alan Lu takes a closer look.

The Samsung Q330 doesn't have many business-specific features, but it does have reasonably long battery life, good Windows performance and a comfortable keyboard and touchpad at an inexpensive price. Although there are ultra-portable laptops with...
