Toshiba Satellite A665-S5176

The Toshiba Satellite A665-S5176 offers plenty of processing power thanks to its second-generation Intel Core i3-2310M processor. Throw in a Blu-ray player, improved graphics and gaming options, and a sub-$800 price tag, this is an enticing system for...

Second-generation Intel Core i3 processor. Clever features like Sleep-and-Charge and Sleep-and-Listen. Blu-ray drive is a steal at this price. Great speakers and sound.

Lackluster display. Hard drive is oh-so-average. Lots of bloatware.

Toshiba doesn't hesitate to shovel on the bloatware, and this laptop has a full load. In addition to the usual software trials, like a 30-day trial of Norton Internet Security and Microsoft Office 2001 Starter, you'll also find an array of...

Toshiba Satellite A665-S5176X review: Toshiba Satellite A665-S5176X

Toshiba Satellite A665-S5176X

A Blu-ray drive and excellent speakers make the ; worth considering for those looking for a reasonably priced 15-inch multimedia laptop.

Uninspiring design, a middle-of-the-pack battery, and a bulky feel keep it from being a standout.

While the $799 Toshiba Satellite A665-S5176X is an affordably priced Blu-ray laptop with a next-gen Intel Core i3 processor, there are other options out there that offer better design or performance for the same money.

Toshiba Satellite X205-SLi4 review: Toshiba Satellite X205-SLi4

Toshiba Satellite X205-SLi4

Better CPU for less money than its predecessor.

Poor battery life; stuck with HD DVD drive; other systems offer more gaming muscle for less.

We've always appreciated the inexpensive SLI options offered by Toshiba's gaming-oriented X205 series, but it's hard to recommend the X205-SLi4 when other vendors offer better frame rates for almost $1,000 less.

Toshiba Satellite X205-SLi4

The Toshiba Satellite X205-SLi4 is an attractively priced SLI gaming laptop that should bring new gaming talent out of the woodwork.

Appeals to budget gamers. SLI configuration. Copious amount of RAM. Fast-spinning hard drives. Six USB ports. Sporting a new Penryn processor.

Cumbersome-looking. Small battery.

Toshiba Satellite X205 review: Toshiba Satellite X205

Toshiba Satellite X205

SLI graphics at a relatively low price; good gaming performance; HDMI output.

Pitiful battery life; too much Toshiba branding; mini spacebar; fixed configuration means no GPU options; lower screen resolution than some other 17-inch laptops.

Toshiba's Satellite X205 offers dual-GPU SLI graphics starting at less than $2,000, making it a solid choice for mobile gamers on a budget.

Satellite X205-S9359

This big multimedia notebook is for on-the-go gamers and TV fans. The Toshiba Satellite X205-S9359 handles 3D shooters with aplomb, plus it comes bundled with an add-on TV tuner and remote control for watching shows. For work, productivity applications...

Dual hard drives Four built-in speakers

Heavy total weight Unimpressive battery life

If you're looking for a mainstream or inexpensive notebook, the X205-S9359 will be too much bang for too many bucks. But if a strong gaming notebook that can also feed your TV addiction and comes with Microsoft Word and Excel sounds like the ideal...

Review Toshiba Satellite C855-2J4 Notebook

Update in gray. The Toshiba Satellite C855-2J4 is a 15.6-inch entry-level notebook. Equipped with an Intel Core i5-3230M processor and AMD Radeon HD 7610M GPU, the notebook is one of the more powerful models in Toshiba's entry-level series.

Number pad, Pleasant touchpad surface, Display with ample contrast, CPU clock speed remains at maximum during the stress test, 1 TB HDD and 8 GB RAM, The high contrast ratio is a definite plus

Many glossy surfaces, Single USB 3.0 port, No Gigabit LAN, Glossy display, Fairly short battery life, ...but we would have preferred a non-glare display panel

Review Toshiba Satellite L855-15U Notebook

Cool design. The L855 leaves a nice impression with its steel-blue brushed aluminum chassis, remaining pleasantly cool to the touch. Our test will show whether it works as smoothly as its appearance suggests.

Beautiful brushed aluminium finish, Special keys well-arranged, Palm rest feels great, The brushed aluminum case with its subtle blue cast. The silent and cool operation mode. Toshiba's software

Lid easily deformable, Tiny arrow keys, Small return key, Ports too closely arranged, Improved build quality for the lid. More space between the different ports
