If you don't lock it, it will extend whilst round your neck. Lock only works when fully retracted

When properly focussed in the results are crystal clear. Very easy to use. The versatility is really handy. Wide or zoom, you really only need one lens.

You need good light conditions. Focus can be a wee bit slow. It does have a bit of lens creep when pointing down in zoom.
