Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM

 

The Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM is one of the fastest SLR lenses you can buy. It's expensive and heavy, but can create an extremely shallow depth of field.

Unmatched light gathering capability. Extremely sharp from f/2 onward. Capable of creating a very shallow depth of field.

Expensive. Large and heavy. A little soft at maximum aperture. Noticeable distortion.
